We lived in Kyllburg 1982-1984; great neighbors, was a fantastic Gasthaus just below our home. Beautiful walking and geography. We patronized a professional hair Salon there from 1982 until our departure from the Eifel in 2016. Nice video, you went past our home (Stiftstrasse #40) remember when a tour bus got stuck between the buildings on the narrow part just before the Stadtmitte.

Have you visited Minden? It's near the Luxembourg boarder. That's where we lived while stationed at Bitburg '65-'68.

We lived in Menningan from1961 til 1964. I would love to see it again and the park just outside Irrel. Went thru Minden at least once a month.

like many places in Germany, beautiful old houses between horrid post-war buildings. Wish they had taken better care of their architectural heritage. Kyllburg did not suffer much damage in WW2, only from modernization without concern for beauty.
