You are a great ambassador of the "good-natured and evolved Americans" the ones who travel, visit, appreciate, and respect other cultures. Too bad many here think we live in the center of the universe and everything revolves around the USA. You know you are in the minority. I got into a discussion with someone here that thinks the USA is the greatest country on earth. I asked him if he has ever traveled and his reply was "no, no need to, this is the greatest country on the earth". I stopped right there. I have lived in other parts of the world, mainly in Europe, and I must say, no place is perfect, but Europe sure as hell is much better for living, for life, for happiness. You can judge a society by how they treat their elders, and how they are revered and respected, and most importantly, how happy they are. Well, not here in the USA. Great job Mark. Your enthusiasm and love and respect for Europe is a testament to what a true American can be and should be. And one last thing, perhaps you guys should start a tour company in Europe as soon as the world can get to a sense of normalcy. You would do great.

Ari. You are absolutely right 110%. I am an American. Lived in New York all my life. I live here in Florida. What I see is disgraceful. I used to think my country was the best but not anymore. It's only going to get worse. I am making plans to move to Italy. Mark does a fantastic job showing us Americans how good life can be. Being kind, and respectful to other cultures. Ari, yes. My husband and I lived over 3 years in Germany and traveled. It was the best thing we ever did, we loved it, even as it pushed us out of our comfort zones! When we can get a reliable vaccine, we will go back. I will bring my younger sister, she has discussed endlessly how much she wants to experience places where processed food is not the norm... etc. I am so looking forward to it. Travel and connecting with people from different worlds changes us for the better.
