You stay in your vehicle, you can get out the car to stretch your legs but there’s nowhere else to go apart from one toilet every other carriage

Yes that’s how you get from the UK to France and back. There is a ferry option but the train only takes a total of 35 minutes

I used to love cars when i was a kid But with age, i realised that due to louder voices of car users in urban Transportation matters, they often cause the lack of investments in public transportation. Recently, the govt, which apparently seems to be waiting for the right opportunity, announced the Dismantling of the only one public transportation system which had somehow existed in the city, due to its great initial success. This comes one month after govt opened 4 six lane flyovers for operations. The govt further justified that they would compensate by building flyovers. As if leaving no alternative other than using cars, will ever my beloved city achieve sustainable development in its true sense. Despite coloniasm and everything which europe did to the world, i still like it, quite because it is doing what should it be done at the moment. Our govt is absolutely leaving the rail sector for the dust, and introducing massive investments in highways, whereas railway is the sector which is so big, it happens to be the biggest employer in our country as well.

It's not too bad. Brexit has added bureaucracy which is a shame, but basically you book your slot online, turn up at the terminal, drive through passport control then wait a few minutes until they load your train. Then on the other side just drive straight out onto the motorway.
