2:50. I subconsciously made an audible groan watching that stretch. That would have been the end of my ride right there. Thanks again.

Hey thanks for that. Was planning to cycle that route. Will now just forget about it. Cheers from New Zealand.

Yes I'd say that's a good shout. We only wanted to go to reach to black sea. The few weeks before that last dire stretch was incredible though and arguably our favourite area.. Bulgaria Macedonia Greece (for half a day) and into Edirne Turkey which head a great city. But from there I'd just bomb on down to Istanbul!

First time watching a video first😀😀 Edit:I'm so so so ashamed and very much sorry for the mess you saw there.Unfortunately some people OK OK alot of people cannot be persuaded into throwing their rubbish in the bin or separating their waste into different categories.I'm so sad to hear that as you said there is so much potential and they don't get it.They say that they love their country, that is not true love!

Yay thank you for watching!! #1!! Hope you enjoyed it :) It wasn't quite the black sea paradise we hoped for but in fact it was still an amazing experience... next video cycling to Istanbul... Coming in the next few days!

@@esra2146 I must say, the Turkish people were among the most friendly, kind and generous we met and we honestly loved Turkey so much. Ok the food really helps too haha!! Istanbul is our favourite city that's for sure and after visiting Cappadocia..we can see there is so much more to see in Turkey.. and will be back!!!

@@MatHall Ive been that part of the world before for work (luleburgaz) yes its pretty grim, very industrialized, rubbish pollution everywhere. just read a comment you made...skip that part and go straight to Istanbul?

@@716tommo i saw A LOT of potential there and itd be cool to ride past the new airport now, as it was being built when we were there. But yeh, we only wanted to go to say we went from north sea to black sea. Don't regret it, but I would recommend it I guess. However the route was more interesting from all accounts than simply taking main road (busy!) all the way to Istanbul. Was a good little adventure but you'll have a ton as you get past Istanbul and head east

People are disgusting. Look how much dirty there is! I'm ashamed of seeing this. I'm really sorry but we can't educate these people in Turkey, obviously. Sad about your disappointment but we are disappointed too; I am, as a Turk, at least.
