KilkaVmasle Russia isn't one of the big 5 so the amount they pay into the event is a lot lower. Also, it would be a better contest without the eastern bloc states who have taken over Eurovision and made it very very tacky indeed.

Ich fand den Song damals auch super! War wirklich schade, dass sie so knapp zweite wurde. Im Nachhinein war es vielleicht doch besser - als Conchita ist sie in zwei Jahren noch mehr gereift und hat mit ihrem grandiosen Auftritt in Kopenhagen verdient gewonnen!!!

Abgehn Naise you mean what the Austrian broadcasting agency is thinking as there was no public voting or contest for this years song - though the song is way better than recent Austrian entries, TBH. But her appearance at ESC does prove that Europe still has a long way to go before people of any gender and any sexual orientation are not discriminated and en pare with self-named "normal" people!

I'm really proud that she will go to the ESC '14 and presenting my country. She's a warrior who fights for more tolerance, but it seems that nobody really wants to understand Conchita's real message. I guess she wants to provocate and to show the people that we are often not tolerant enough - like you can see in a lot of comments of that video. I really get sick if I read them.
