Carlos Grimaldo Yea, did you hear the rumours at the moment? They maybe wanna host esc 2019 in Germany because Israel is not sure at the moment because of the whole boycott things and the political situation there. What do you think about that? :D
@Liiiiiooon6 жыл бұрын
Carlos Grimaldo Yea, maybe. But you never know, so many people from all around the world want the contest in Germany. It would be cool, but we shouldn't forget how Israel has to feel at the moment. If they really host the contest in another country, it would be pretty sad for them tbh.

There's a meme with Poland this year. They were represented with the song "Flashlight" last year and now they're bringing "Light Me Up". I have O'G3NE's "Lights and Shadows", Dihaj's "Skeletons", O.Torvald's "Time", Blanche's "City Lights", Alma's "Requiem" and Tamara Gachechiladze's "Keep The Faith" in my playlist and I listen to them one time per week at least. And I'm still a little mad because "Keep The Faith" didn't reach the final but "This Is Love" did. About Spain, it was such a tough year. The televote didn't want that song at all. One of the juries who was part of the jury vote in the National final had connections with Manel, and he broke the rules because they mustn't have had connections with the representants. Manel received a LOT of hate and his voice crack was a meme for weeks. He had to represent the country with a song which was not of his style because that's the song they gave to him (I feel like I'm gonna request songs forever, even though this is a special request, but even if you don't react to it maybe someone will watch it). He performed one of his own songs on May 16th of 2017, days after Eurovision: starts at 0:55 kzbin.info/www/bejne/rafOqWSPqa50i80 .

lol....i said the same thing about Spain...."Bless His Heart" XD Apparently, there was huge controversy about his selection in representing to Spain because a lot of people saw another artist as way more deserving and then he made a rude gesture to the audience? Oh well. If there was any reason to believe he deserved to represent Spain, that crack in the middle instead of what should have been his big note and his awkward dead-eyed stare as the build up....bless his heart. lol I was nervous about this one cuz Amar Pelos Dois was life-changing for me, so to speak, and i wanted you to like it cuz while 2015 Sweden was the song that finally made me stop and pay attention to ESC, 2017 was the first time I was actually able to follow a competition from the beginning and once i heard Salvador's entry, there was no contest for me. Plus watching the song's journey was fascinating because it was such a perfect quiet storm building up to a thunderous moment of victory: you had perennial underdog Portugal, you had a throwback song that REALLY divided people on the net and stood out like a sore thumb in the contest, you had people taking every excuse to discredit it ("people only like it cuz they pity Salvador's health issues", "its just so boring", "he's so weird", etc), and you had a massive juggernaut standing in its way (Italy, later Bulgaria), but right when it mattered most, they took Italy in the odds (which no other song had done that whole season, unlike Netta, who was dethroned and even fell to like third for a bit there before the final?) and not only does Portugal win....THEY DESTROY THE COMPETITION WITH THE MOST DOMINANT jury/televote SCORE GRAB IN HISTORY. Like, there are videos and such that recalculate the 2017 scores back to the previous score system and it even clobbers "Fairytale" by 30 points. It seems with Claudia that Portugal is back to its old standing, or might be heading there, but damn did they have their moment.... So "Amar Pelos Dois" is not only my favorite ESC song, for being not only an exquisite masterpiece but for being my first 'favorite' that i followed all the way through, but just one of my favorite songs, PERIOD. Salvador is amazing and i admire him and he was phenomenal in this year's interval performance. Aaaaanyway, here's my full rank of the songs last year, subject to eventual change, like i might put Belgium higher: 42."Space"- Slavko Kalezic (Montenegro) 41."Do It For Your Lover"- Manel Navarro (Spain) 40."Don't Come Easy"- Isaiah (Australia) 39."Dying To Try"- Brendan Murray (Ireland) 38."Rain of Revolution"- Fusedmarc (Lithuania) 37."Beautiful Mess"- Kristian Kostov (Bulgaria) 36."My Turn"- Martina Barta (Czech Republic) 35."In Too Deep"- Tijana Bogicevic (Serbia) 34."This Is Love"- Demy (Greece) 33."I Feel Alive"- IMRI (Israel) 32."Spirit of the Night"- Valentina Monetta and Jimmie Wilson (San Marino) 31."Apollo"- Timebelle (Switzerland) 30."Perfect Life"- Levina (Germany) 29."My Friend"- Jacques Houdek (Croatia) 28."Grab the Moment"- JOWST (Norway) 27."Yodel It!"- Ilinca f/Alex Florea (Romania) 26."Keep the Faith"- Tamara Gachechiladze (Georgia) 25."Running On Air"- Nathan Trent (Austria) 24."Origo"- Joci Papai (Hungary) 23."Breathlessly"- Claudia Faniello (Malta) 22."Gravity"- Hovig (Cyprus) 21."I Can't Go On"- Robin Bengtsson (Sweden) 20."Never Give Up On You"- Lucie Jones (United Kingdom) 19."Skeletons"- Dihaj (Azerbaijan) 18."Paper"- Svala (Iceland) 17."On My Way"- Omar Naber (Slovenia) 16."Requiem"- Alma (France) 15."Flashlight"- Kasia Mos (Poland) 14."Story of My Life"- Naviband (Belarus) 13."Dance Alone"- Jana Burceska (Macedonia) 12."Occidentali's Karma"- Francesco Gabbani (Italy) 11."Line"- Triana Park (Latvia) 10."Lights and Shadows"- O'G3NE (Netherlands) 9."Blackbird"- Norma John (Finland) 8."Hey Mamma!"- Sunstroke Project (Moldova) 7."World"- Lindita (Albania) 6."Where I Am"- Anja (Denmark) 5."City Lights"- Blanche (Belgium) 4."Verona"- Koit Toome and Laura (Estonia) 3."Time"- O. We all know there are amazing songs in the contests (and that's it all about) but there are also very impressing Openings and Interval Acts!! And for me one of the best (if not THE best) Opening ever, ESC 2015 Vienna Grand Final Opening (kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZ3cnauslrZro9k) - maybe i love it so much because i am from Austria and I was there and saw it live ... keep on Recating to Videos :-)

That's why half of Ukrainians thinks Melovin will flop and other half (his fans) believes he'll win the whole thing. acts of such quality called Grynzholy here (after a name of a group we pushed to stage first time we hosted the contest, they scored historical lowest).
