I really can't understand why everyone is saying this ESC is bad we have some diverse an amazing songs! 1. Belgium (Perfection. Sennek is beautiful and the song suits her perfectly unlike Azerbaijan's Internal pick) 2. Israel (My wig flew to Israel as soon as she started to sing I am blown away this entry will be divisive but so far I have only seen positivity for it!) 3. Sweden (I personally loved Benjamin an had a feeling it was going to be him, I love everything about his performance and it quite is more show than song, but the song on its own is great too!) 4. Estonia (Elina is a professional and she just oozes charisma. I adore her song and stage show.) 5. Portugal (This song is otherworldly and it really captures the mysterious qualities a language can have.) 6. France (Fallen from my first and top 5 but this song still has made me tear up and I am re falling in love with it.) 7. Germany (Again this song makes me cry, and its a great song too, just needs more impact in the verses I think) 8. Slovenia (I love Lea, I thought in last years EMA she was a sure fire qualifier an then Omar was said an not her. Now shes back with a total BOP and I am pumped cause she is in Semi 2 which is the weaker one at this point) 9. Cyprus (ANOTHER BOP We really needed this song its gonna be a great show I just know it.) 10. Croatia (This song is amazing, everyone is complaining about the strength of the chorus but this is a song that is brought to life live, so I am excited for Croatia.) 11. Finland (The live was a let down but I heard they are gonna change things, hopefully her awful costume.) 12. Austria (A smooth song that feels warm and with a great vocalist. Classy Austria.) 13. Albania (I love Eugent I hope he can make it through to the final) 14. United Kingdom (I love SuRie, she deserves a better song, but I still really like it. Its sweet.) 15. Czech Republic (Depending on the day any of my 11-15 songs can be in my top ten, the Czech song is one I will pray to see go to the ESC Final and blow up the score board, simply cause its the Czech Republic and Prague would be an amazing Host.)

My Top 1) GREECE [This song is just amazing - the greek elements of this story are beautiful...with the right staging and camera work this song could win Eurovision 2018] 2) PORTUGAL [The portuguese entry is just truly beautiful and gives me a very special feeling...I really want her to do well with this song since i know it's not everyones cup of tea] 3) SWEDEN [Just an outstanding staging - Brilliant! And the song is extremely radio friendly - Sweden has again done something amazing by sending something that is very current] 4) UKRAINE [A very cool entry from Ukraine this year - this guy just knows how to rock the stage and how to present this song...but he needs to work on his english pronunciation] 5) CYPRUS [The song has a very nice and modern beat...The singer is amazing - all in all a big improvement from last year...Give that girl an amazing staging and she will blow us away :D] 6) BELGIUM [The song reminds me of a James Bond opening theme...It's very mysteroius and well-thought...Belgium has again send an amazing entry] 7) ITALY [The message of this song is very good and i like the melody and rhythm these two singers are giving us - i just hope people will appreciate this kind of music, i love the language BTW] 8) ARMENIA [Just beautiful and sweet...I'm glad that Armenia decided to send a song in their own language - I'm exited so see if they will change the staging] 9) GERMANY [This is just such an honest and sweet song, very touching and i think one of the best entries Germany has given us in the last few years - this could do very well in Eurovision] 10) CZECH REPUBLIC [Very modern very cool and still perfect for the Eurovision stage - he has already proven that he can sing and perform live - this will the Czechias best result ever] 11) FRANCE [Beautiful melody and very touching topic they are singing about - the problem is that it was chosen so early, thats why many Eurovision-Fans might have listend too often to this :D] 12) DENMARK [I just like the viking vibes this song is giving us - the singer has a great voice and an amazing stage presence - But please get these sails from the stage it looks cringy] 13) ISRAEL [This is very cool and refreshing...Very different but still memorable - i just hope the staging will be sophisticated so this song can shine] 14) SPAIN [They are both so sweet and their song is just lovely - i'm interested to see if they will change anything for the staging in Lisbon...This year Spain has gone from zero to hero] 15) FINLAND [I really like this song but the staging in the National Final was just awful..they really need to change this otherwise they ruin the whole song with that] 16) NETHERLANDS [the song is good but it has some confusing elements in it...And what is it with the Netherlands and country music :D? The dutch must me obsessed with that - still well done Netherlands!] 17) AUSTRIA [Austria just stepped up it's game-again!...I really like this song it's much better than last year's entry and the singer has an outstanding voice...will definitely qualify] 18) HUNGARY [It took me a while to understand the meaning and story of this song - normally this is not my kind of music but i love the fact that Hungary shows some diversity by sending something so different] 19) AZERBAIJAN [The song is okay but it is just another generic pop song from Azerbaijan...And it's sad to see that Azerbaijan almost never uses cultural traditional elements in their entries] 20) ESTONIA [The whole staging is amazing but the song itself is kind of annoying - however i think will reach Top 10 in the final - but it's not a Eurovision winner] 21) SLOVENIA [The song itself is cool and has something very special and different - the only problem i have with this are the annoying rap parts in Slovenian that nobody will understand] 22) CROATIA [It's actually amazing but for be it's a little bit flat...So the staging needs to be extra amazing - This song would be cool in Fifty Shades of Grey :D] 23) UNITED KINGDOM [Very generic and very bland but it has some special parts that keep it from being too boring - i hope they will revamp this song otherwise this could be the weakest of the Big 5] 24) IRELAND [It's a very sweet song but i'm not sure how this will do in 2018...This sound more like it was written during Ireland's golden Eurovision Era...I wish him the best] 25) MALTA [For me this song is way to bland and average - Maybe with a special staging this could stand out - but for now i'm not that confident about Malta. I wish them all the best this year] 26) NORWAY [Alexander Rybak had an amazing song in 2009...Back then he won for a reason...This however it a huge step back from his success...I don't even see this qualifying :( ] 27) SERBIA [I want to like this song...but all these different elements make it really hard to understand how the song is supposed to sound like - They have to fix that] 28) POLAND [Just another averrage pop song - nothing special that could make it stand out - And this Oh oh-singing gets really annoying] 29) AUSTRALIA [I expected more from Australia and especially more from Jessica Mauboy...The song has a good chance to do well but it's too basic to really get near Top 5] 30) LATVIA [I have the feeling that i heard the exact song before...This is a total rip-off but i don't remember who sang something like this :D for me it's just okay - nothing to go crazy for] 31) ROMANIA [Some parts of the song are amazing and some parts of the song are just boring and awful...if this song gets a revamp this could do much better...but now it's just meh...] 32) SWITZERLAND [This is extremely generic and i have the feeling that Switzerland could again not qualify...It is a good and catchy pop song but it has no identity] 33) ICELAND [Very strange and dated...In 1992 this would have an impact in the Eurovision...But this could be a bottom-3-candidate in the Semi Final :( ] 34) SAN MARINO [I'm not a fan of this song but i think it's not a an embarassing entry for San Marino...I can see they try to go in the right direction with their national Final] 35) BELARUS [Very strange voice - he is just awful live...i don't see this qualifying at all - Sorry Belarus but this is just one of your weakest entries ever - For me it's a clear NO] 36) MONTENEGRO [Sorry this is just a boring song from the Balcans...a song like 1000 others - nothing speacial, nothing that will make it stand out - i heard it twice and remember nothing] 37) ALBANIA [He has an okay voice but nobody really seems to really like this song - me included, Albania had amazing entries in the past but this year it's just not right - Sorry Albania] 38) MOLDOVA [Just awful...sounds like the Eurovision-songs of the mid 2000s that didn't qualify - something we would have seen in Istanbul 2004 or Kyiv 2005 - This is just bad and dated]

Schweden hatte die Chance mit "Higher Ground" anzutreten und entschieden sich dagegen. Dazu muss man wohl nichts mehr sagen. Ich drücke Dänemark alle Daumen, die ich habe, aber Schweden sollte endlich mal die Rechnung für seinen Einheitsbrei bekommen. Der diesjährige Beitrag würde sich dafür echt gut machen ;)
