A shame that he finished first in the first round's voting. Too often that happens with the second placed entries in Söngvakepnnin. And this year unlike the previous two, it was a bad thing.

How could they not send this through?? This had a shot at winning the whole thing. No offense to Ari Olafsson, he seems like a sweetheart, but his high note is shaky at best. This song really could have been a victory, esp. because it's not a very competitive year.

Ok, it would probably not win ESC 2018 but Iceland... why not this one? So much better. You are one of the countries who succeed singing in national language and you picked the most awful song in English... I'm sorry Iceland but theres no final for you in Lisbon :(
