Ten countries have confirmed their Eurovision 2021 artists. As of Sunday 22 March, the confirmed ESC 2021 participants and singers were:

I would say it's more unfair for the other contestants that won't have the chance of participating in the ESC... at least the Mamas were a part of the show last year, though with John Lundvik. Either way, the have experienced the ESC-scene, many of this year's artists won't...

It's not about the artists it's about the amazing songs they produced. Whatever they produce next year will always be compared to the 2020 song, consciously or unconsciously. This is not good news, by far, in my opinion, cause you tend to like the song first. Then after hearing it 10 times, you tend to enjoy the artist, BUT for THAT specific song

So basically I know that most countries who make a big deal of the national selections contest will not send the same artists. For now I think it will probably be Sweden, Portugal, Italy and Iceland. Although I am not sure, but I think these countries will hold the national selection contests again. It doesn't mean however that the same artists can't just win selections again 😁

I personally love Eden's "Feker Libi," but I'm not a huge fan of Ukraine for example. I respect the Ukrainian artists, however, and the people who love that entry. I'm gonna be honest, the first time I heard Repondez Moi I thought it was kind of boring, but when I heard the song again a week later or so it just clicked with me and ever since it's one of my favourites of all times. The chorus just sounds so... eternal, like calling into the void while standing on the highest mountain tops. That, and the lyrics, and the language, and his voice just make it one of the best songs in my opinion.

Thanks again, William and Deban. Wiwibloggs always has such diverse and informative videos regarding Eurovision, not just your typical reaction videos of other channels. There are 2 main things that really stood out to me in this video: William--I like your idea of having a national final for all the confirmed acts where they perform several songs in a competition format to determine which song they will perform in Eurovision 2021. I think there needs to be a jury in addition to fan voting, just like the ESC, to prepare the artists for the format of ESC. Deban--from your comments in the videos, we seem to agree often on things about a song or performance, even though it is not the popular opinion. I understand that Solovay by Go_A has a lot of traditional Ukrainian musical elements to it, but I sure hope that all traditional Ukrainian music does not consist of 3 minutes of monotone screaming into a microphone. I appreciate when a country does things in ESC that are traditional to that country, but I sure hope that next year's selection by Go _A does not include screaming into the microphone, too.

Hey guys, much love from Israel! I would really like to point our that while yes Doyon Medalie is an amazing composer and should be praised for this song he is only half of the equation. Idan Raichel is a very well known musician, composer and one of the forefathers of the Israel music and pop culture. I think he should be mentioned more. I mean as an Israeli I never heard of Medalie until I heard that he worked on this song with Reichel who I grew up listening to his music.
