Back by popular demand - here's a compilation of all the moments the winners of each national finals (minus the Moldovan one of which I wasn't able to find footage) were announced. I've decided to include Vidbir too because it felt wrong to exclude, although the winner ultimately chose to withdraw. Hope you enjoy regardless!

I love all these moments because everyone's a winner at least for that moment. Only one act will win the whole contest, only twenty acts will qualify over those two semis, but for one shining moment, all these acts can lift up a trophy and claim victory. When you get right down to it, getting to compete at Eurovision really is kind of the victory in and of itself.

I agree. If artists don't do well in the contest say they come low on the scoreboard or don't get into the final from the semi-final they can acknowledge at least having tried their best and got the chance to do their country proud by representing them obviously. People who don't win their national final can always come back better with a stronger song and try again in a couple of years then.

The class a bunch of them had. The only ones who weren't very classy were Kalush Orchestra, but I suppose that's all water under the bridge now (especially now that they're competing).

@@SuperJNG18 Definitely yeah; to be honest, I love Kalush and Stefania, but I was disappointed by the way they reacted. As you said though, water under the bridge and Stefania is one of my favorites this year. So many people were so classy this year during national final season, it made me so happy.

The guy who communicated the result was the chairman of the jury. And Polish jury chose Daria, not Ochman, so maybe he was disappointed with the overall result. 😉🙃

I love seeing competitors themselves congratulating a winner. Even tho it's a competition, it's so wholesome when they're happy for the winner. No hard feelings, you won fair and square, it's all water under the bridge! Some ESC "fans" could learn from them.

What’s funny about Subwoolfer’s reaction is that now we know from their documentary that they didn’t know they had won-they couldn’t see the screen with the scores and they didn’t want to celebrate until they were sure of the results.

I watched a bunch of these happen, but one I only got most of the way through before I had to go to work was Portugal. I tried watching snatches of it during breaks, but of course, it didn't get to the voting until I was in a long stretch of my shift where I couldn't check my phone. I was rooting very hard for Maro and was hoping she'd win. When I had a free moment, I quickly checked the livestream again...and the first thing I see is a grinning Maro holding the trophy! I tried to fist-pump quickly and put my phone away, but man, was I happy. I was very pleased with damn near all the NF outcomes this season, but that might've made me the happiest. That, France, Ireland, San Marino, and Sweden were my biggest "YOU TOTALLY NAILED IT!" moments.

After vidbir Alina was asked again about entering Crimea through russia and this time answer was completely opposite. In confirmation of her words she published a document that says she entered Crimea through Ukraine. But office that was supposed to give this document to her literally don't have this information as it is supposed to be already erased from database;). So this document was obviously fabricated
