I agree very much with what you said about the Serbian song. I love this sort of apocalyptic vibe and the synthesizer's use is masterful. I think the singer's voice fits perfectly for the song. It's not a song that requires extraordinary vocal skills but the right interpretation and a style between the scratching and the whispered. This guy is perfect IMO.

Your list is interesting, I am Australian but I live in Italy, I'm happy you put Australia so high, if there are a lot of 'rock' enthusiasts voting I think it can do well. I think UK and Israel are overrated, they seem songs I have already heard. Yes its true the French song is quite typical for them but I like the vibe of it. I am pretty sure Finland is the one to beat, it is catchy and he is outrageous and original. Let's see what happens in 2 months. I also like Austria and Moldova. Serbia is also very original.

Out of all Eurovision KZbinrs you have to be the one with the most similar taste to mine. Personally my golden trio is: 🇫🇮🇱🇻🇪🇸 Some thoughts: 1. 'Venom' & 'Cha Cha Cha' were also my favourites of the whole season. Had 'Venom' won, Estonia would now be my winner for the second year straight. 2. I have seen many people calling 'Aijā' a grower, which makes me not hopeful for its result. I actually belong to the minority who fell in love with this song at first listen. It is so intense yet soft and the ending is chill-enducing. 3. I can see why some people dismiss 'Eaea' as inaccessible, but this song when paired with a stage performance it becomes mesmerising and dare I say breathtaking (the note in the final part gives me goosebumps). My prediction: *Sweden* will win but not with ease. Finland and possibly another country (e.g. Spain, Georgia) will be a threat. Anyway, I will try to make my own top 37 with comments (if I have enough time) and invite you to watch it when it is up.

I could absolutely not tell if I would have Estonia or Finland as my winner If venom had won. I only know Venom probably even have beaten Hope for me. Looking at the winner, I also think Sweden is the favourite but not as a runaway. I can even see Finland winning the Public. Result wise I just hope Germany can finally gain a better result (but I actually have the highest hopes on that since 2018) As you mentioned Georgia, what Fascinated me about them is that they are actually really trying this year. They didn´t do so for the last years. And there is something else thats interesting. I always wondered why they never sent any former JESC singers (which Iru is), since Georgia is an absolute powerhouse there and they had so many crazy talents there. My hopes are that Ukraine and Armenia might do the same in some years.

@Jere_dieKralle I would say that both Armenia and Georgia are actually trying to replicate their JESC success in the adult contest this year, as both their songs sound like something they would send to JESC in recent years. And honestly, none of this year's songs beats 'Hope' (or even my runner-up 'Give That Wolf A Banana') for me personally and neither does 'Venom', even though it comes very close. Still, that song encapsulates the sound of my childhood, and in fact reminds me of Nickelback's 'How You Remind Me' which is one of the first ever songs I remember myself listening to non-stop.

I haven't picked my absolute favourite yet, and I'm from Finland, so I can't vote for our song, which I genuinely love more than anything we've ever picked. Slovenia is one of my favourites, so are Moldova, Serbia and Georgia. I applaud Germany for picking something different, the song is solid, but for my liking a bit too metal. I'm not a fan of Loreen's song, even if everyone thinks Sweden will win this year. Compared to Euphoria, it's just not as innovative. I feel, this year, the live performances can really tip the scales in any direction. We have a beautifully diverse collection of songs, something for everyone. The ESC is so needed this year, just to bring people together with something positive for a change.

Thank you for putting Slovenia, Australia, and Germany in your top 5. Finally someone who appreciates Germany's and Australia's entries (from what I've seen many people have Slovenia quite high). Why does no one like Romania tho😭 The staging is really not it, but that will hopefully change. The actual song is so good though. I get that this type of music is not everyone's cup of tea, it's not super mainstream. But we don't often have songs like that at the competition and there have to be some people who like it.

Love the bands this year even Croatia's band is still appreciated. But my best band is Sudden Lights Latvia 💖vote for latvia!🤞💖 My only concern with the rock genre, special mention to Australia's band which the instrumentals astoundingly build up, is that they can't do the instrumental live!!!!! which is what fcked up the rock genres in eurovision. rock relies on instrumentals that makes the genre rock!!!

There is no bad music only different tastes. Although there are some songs I just don’t like for various reasons and sadly I'll have to pretend Poland doesn’t exist this year (I simply have nothing nice to say and it has nothing to do with the song, which isn't my cup of tea either way, and I stand with the polish people on this one 🇵🇱❤). For me personally there aren't that many songs that touch something or that I like. My top 6 would be: 6. 🇵🇹 Portugal - I love the mix between modern and old fashioned and I think it has a lot of potential for an upscaled performance in Liverpool 4. 🇷🇸Slovenia - this song just grew on me. I don’t understand what they are singing about, but I like the voice, the beat and the good vibes I get from this 4. 🇲🇩 Moldova - I love the ethno-pop vibe with the underlying almost mythical elements and I liked the stage performance a lot 3. 🇦🇺 Australia - I knew I would like this one before I heard the song, just because it's Voyager and I was so happy with the song they chose, it makes me feel good every time I listen to it 2. 🇨🇿 Czechia - this has been the biggest grower for me and I like it more with every time listening to it. I like the message and I hope they up the performance or maybe even recreate some parts from the video (though it wasn’t entirely Vesna's fault but the low budget TV production and near last minute rehearsals). I really love this song ❤ 1. 🇩🇪 Germany - I just adore the band, their music and their personalties. The song is catchy and ESC appropriate and approachable even for people who normally don’t like this kind of music. The message is a powerful one, especially in times like these where tollerance and compassion often seem to get left behind. I absolutely adore this band and everything they stand for. It might not win, but it will be remembered because we stopped playing safe this year. We give our hearts to the Lord of the Lost ❤🤘🖤 This is just MY opinion and we will see how everything plays out. I just wish that everyone has a great time and hope there won’t be so much hate among fanbases if someone doesn’t agree with an opinion that isn't their own. Love from Cologne 🇩🇪🤘

@Jere_dieKralle Hab ich schon verstanden, finde es im Zusammenhang mit dem ESC nur einfacher auf Englisch ;) Für mich seit langem das erste Mal, dass ich mir den ESC anschaue und auch beim Vorentscheid mitgefiebert habe. Ich kenne die Band seit 2014 und ist mit Metallica einfach Herzensband. Die sind live ein Brett und werden definitiv in Liverpool eine Schippe drauflegen, alleine weil die Bühne viel mehr Platz bietet. LotL werden denke ich hier genauso wie im Vorentscheid massiv unterschätzt was die Fanbase angeht. Ob es zum gewinnen reicht, keine Ahnung. Auf jeden Fall werden wir mit Abstand nicht letzter dieses Jahr

Ethno habe ich auch oft weit oben, aber auch so halbes Trollzeugs mag ich auch häufig (Kroatien z.Bsp.). Mit so ganz dunklem Rock aka Emo Zeugs oder Metal bei welchem nicht mehr gesungen sondern eher ,,gehustet'' wird bin ich nicht so familiar.

@Jere_dieKralle Wie gesagt, ich weiß selbst nicht, was ich am litauischen Beitrag so mag, aber ich hab ihn tatsächlich auch eher als Ohrwurm empfunden… Zu Dänemark: die seltsamen Effekte und Verzerrungen waren zumindest im nationalen Vorentscheid auch so vorhanden, ansonsten hätte ich den Beitrag in die hinteren 20er gesetzt. Auch Polens Beitrag, so billig er (und ihre optische Erscheinung im Video!) auch sein mag, wäre zwei oder drei Plätze weiter oben gelandet da er zumindest recht eingängig ist Zum kroatischen Beitrag noch so viel: ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass er so klar auf dem letzten Platz landen wird, wie ihn die meisten KZbinr sehen, aber irgendwie ist es scheint‘s „in“, den Song zu haten
