In my opinion fans should not compare 2024 to previous years yet because we already saw the Eurovision performances of the older ones (except 2020). Nevertheless, if I did this my picks would be the following: 2023: 🇦🇱🇦🇲🇦🇺🇦🇹🇨🇾🇨🇿🇫🇮🇩🇪🇮🇸🇮🇱🇮🇹🇱🇻🇲🇹🇲🇩🇪🇦🇸🇪 2024: 🇦🇿🇧🇪🇭🇷🇩🇰🇪🇪🇨🇵🇬🇪🇬🇷🇮🇪🇱🇹🇳🇱🇳🇴🇵🇱🇵🇹🇸🇲🇷🇸🇸🇮🇨🇭🇺🇦🇬🇧 16-20 is the result. Of course some will change after the contest. If I have to compare ROU 23 to LUX 24 I choose the latter. Also, the mashups were awesome! Especially Austria & Estonia were very fun to listen to.

27 for 2023 and 9 for 2024. I mean, this year for me is one of the worst I've seen in a while. It's filled with generic and boring songs. In 2024, comparing to 2023, only Belgium, Croatia, Greece, Ireland (2023 Ireland is just pain), Lithuania, Netherlands, Portugal, Serbia and Switzerland.

2024 has pretty good genre diversity imo. There are dance songs that are more generic and more unusual, different types of ballads, a couple of rock entries, mixed genre, opera elements, "troll" acts, ethnic songs.

@@xromyx Boring in terms of production. Like in most of the songs nothing really happens, it's boring. For example Cyprus, Iceland, Poland, Austria, Albania, Malta (this isn't really boring, just bad production). Switzerland, Portugal, Netherlands, Greece and even Armenia and Serbia are the opposite. This year is very dancy and uptempo which is actually good
