Esta canção merecia a vitória, mas naquela época a Europa era ainda mais arrogantemente centrada na Europa central e Portugal era um país empobrecido e saído da ditadura poucos anos antes. A true gem among the entries from 1982. A happy, catchy tune and a quite eyecatching performance. And the live orchestra elevates this song in a very good way. Well done, Portugal!

This one belongs to the so called Portuguese "ESC diamond period" - 1980 to 1985, starting with Jose Cid and ending with Adelaide Ferreira, (1980, José Cid, A Great great Love, 1981, Carlos Paião with Play Back, 1982 with Doce, 1983 - Esta Balada que te dou, 1984 - Maria Guinot - Silêncio e Tanta Gente, 1985 - Adelaide Ferreira - Eu sei), in which Portugal sent absolutely amazing tunes. All of the them turned out to be classics in Portuguese music scene. Pity, that ESC didn´t recognize their quality. Jose Cid, among these, got the best position, 7th.

Yes, they dressed with a "muskateer extravaganza" creation. They were quite nice, the first portuguese girls band, showed up by late 70. They turned out to be sex icons in Portugal, without never letting down a good music quality level. This song belongs to Portugal "diamond period", between 1980 - 1985, during which portuguese ESC entries were stunning musics/ballads

Time flyes, almost 40 years, but their songs and style ahead in time. I still remember to go on live concerts with 9 years old. On that time the concerts from Doce we're crowded with 10k spectators wen normally fitted 1k(open air), people were completed astonished by the look, style and the stage presence... Still the best girls band from all time in Portugal and for some years the best from Europe or World maybe...

As Doce estiveram fantásticas, muito á frente dos tempos em que apareceram… Estavam lindíssimas, com o visual criado pelo inigualável José Carlos, como assim estiveram durante todos os momentos das aparições das Doce durante o certame… O José Carlos conseguiu classificar as Doce como o grupo mais fantástico e mais inigualável de sempre num festival da Eurovisao… Até hoje as Doce são lembradas em todos os espectáculos da Eurovisao, muitas vezes copiadas por travestis e drag queens… Para além da Simone de Oliveira, foram as únicas que assinaram o livro deva honra da Eurovisao ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

No One of the four are in the musical scene anymore. They start at the end of 1979 has a groupe and broke up in 1987 and no more Doce since then. Here a short appearance in 2006. Fá, 1 of the dark hair girl, she's completly away from the musical scene, she works in administration area. Lena the other girl with dark hair, working as actress and also manager of the Docemania, 4 teens who song the Doce hits. Teresa (red hair) she does some teather as actress from time to time but not that often, she's also away from the songs. Laura the blond girl, , she graduates in social siences and she lives in USA, California i think. She's also away from the songs.

Queiram ou não as Doce estiveram fantásticas, o visual era fantástico, criado pelo grande José Carlos… Elas foram as primeiras, o som estava horrível, a fã, deu tudo por tudo, no entanto a voz da Teresa Miguel, está no alugue, ela deu tudo, cantou também até há última gota da sua voz… Independentemente das minhas preferências a Teresa, era efectivamente uma mulher que se entregava de corpo e alma, cantava como se o mundo acabasse a seguir ❤️

As Dice foram o grupo mais fantástico que jamais apareceram na Eurovisao.. Com uma canção fantástica, com um visual único, inigualável criado pelo Grande José Carlos… Foram consideradas o grupo mais original, excêntrico mais elegante e inovador que jamais apareceu na Eurovisao…. O grande mentor de tudo isto, foi o enorme José Carlos que não só a as vestiu, maquilhou como também lhes criou um visual fabuloso em todas as aparições públicas das Doce… As Doce foram sempre e para sempre vividas com as músicas do Ti Zé Brito e com o visual do Imenso José Carlos… Sem estes grandes Senhores, a Doce não eram absolutamente nada….
