Göran Fristorp (1948-2024), who represented Sweden in 1973, as part of The Nova and The Dolls, with the song "You're Summer", has passed away due to liver cancer. He competed in Melodifestivalen in 1973, 1974, 1975 and 1978.

Wow - Pierre: In September 1994 he worked as an entertainer on the ship "M/S Estonia", cruising Stockholm and Tallinn. The 28th of September the ship was lost at sea, and over 800 people was killed, among them Pierre Isacsson. Before drowning, he was saving the life of many other passengers.
