Haha yes. The problem is that you get several votes... And most adults will vote 0 to 1 time, meanwhile 14 year old girls May vote in bigger numbers and maby up to 15-30 times each.... So basicly we almost sendt a boy band to eurovision this year. A song sounding like a every other boyband song ever existed... If we ever were to send a boiband it should be boizvoice xD

Australia have had a similar story to Norway's choice of Tix over Keiino this year - choosing the most dreary, vanilla, ballad instead of the fantastic Dreamer by Voyager. Much like Norway last year, Australia have chosen a song that'll be bottom right of the board when they could've chosen a song that would've finished anywhere in the top 5 quite easily. But then I really liked Montaigne's song last year - so what do I know?!

This year (2022) is a perfect example of how the appreciation for good music has decreased. In the recent years we had masterpieces such as Spirit in the Sky but this year it's all just... void.

there'll only ever be one "Spirit in the Sky" but last year we had "Tout l'univers" and this year we have "In Corpore Sano," so I don't think we can complain too much. (I'd also personally put "Fade to Black" in this top echelon but most people would disagree......)

@@nietzscheente1271 it's called 'Eurovision Song Contest' actually. And last I checked Israel isn't in Europe either, neither is Morocco who participated in the past. You only have to be a member of the EBU or be invited. Since Australia is culturally very similar to many western european countries it makes a lot of sense for them to be a part of Eurovision.

Keiino won the televote at ESC 2019 with this song, and if not screwed by the jury, would have won in 2019. They also scored the highest ever second chance score in ESC history in 2021.
