Bonsoir à vous, sa présence bien ancré, et sa performance sont au top, rien à dire,et c'est vrai que la chanson en elle même n' est pas le plus important, formidable charisme pour moi ❤ Avez vous remarqué qu'avant la fin de la chanson, il chante loin du micro, c'est impressionnant, merci Slimane, magnifique tout simplement ❤❤❤❤

Let's be honest, that was stupid of him to do this at Dora. He should've done this at the Eurovision, because now he won't be able to create the surprise again..

No, it would have been impossible to create such a surprise. Because the staging is indeed submitted to very strict rules BEFORE performing at the Grand Finale. The EBU managing staff requires to know the general run of each performance. It's mandatory before performing. Not much improvisation is left to artists in fact. Any artist or national team can't modify the presentation of the song and the way of singing at the very last moment importantly. Here, this acapella part is not a minor change at all: it really alters the way of feeling the whole song a lot. It truly brings something new to the performance radically. Thus, it's better to show it now: it can become a true part of the performance run with time. But U're right: the effect of surprise will have vanished of course. It's the price to pay. However, Slimane can also choose to modify this acapella part slightly => for instance altering some notes or the tone of the voice. Minor changes are authorized until the very last time before performing at the Grand Finale.
