While the overall quality with be closer, the acts that qualified in 2023 were much better than those in 2022. Switzerland, Finland, Azerbajan, Belgium should have all remained in the semis

@@felicepompa938 I wouldn't say that Finland or Azerbaijan in 22 were bad songs. And the performances were good. The downgrades were substantial for several places, after S10, Systur, Die Together and Subwoolfer we definitely had less interesting songs. Montenegro's best entry was followed by no entry. The obvious improvements, Latvia and Germany, were rewarded with non qualification and bottom place in the final. Overall if I compete broadcaster's picks against each other 2022 wins by 25-12.
