The Song from England was also published in a German cover version sung by Rex Gildo : " Zwei blaue Vergissmeinnicht " and was a great success in the sixties .

They used a boom microphone. You can see the shadow of the microphone in minute 26:03 for example (right side). I like that they started innovating in this edition and that they wanted to give the performances a music video quality.

Although I find the Danmark song better than Switserland and deserved to win,was Switserland robbed of the first place. She asked the norwegian jury to REPEAT the voting points. That means not CHANGING them later!!! Instead of giving DANMARK 2 points they changed it in 4 points and SWITSERLAND instead of 3 points they gave it 1 point! 🤥 So they gave their befriended country DANMARK the victory. VERY UNSPORTIVE!!!! Even in 1963 and in the years before (SWEDEN TO DANMARK), you see that in the beginning of the ESC especially scandinavian countries gave each other many points! During the following ESC's you see this more often, al so by other befriended countries. It is childish and a pity!🤔🙄😔
