Eurovision: Songs Belarus Almost Sent (2004 - 2021) | Second Places in Belarusian National Finals

Belarus has chosen most of its entries through televised national finals - or at least a mix of NF and internal selection. Only in 2010, 2011 and 2021, the decision was solely made by broadcaster BTRC. The political nature of their 2021 entry lead to their still ongoing disqualification - more on that in the video. This video is a recap of all songs that almost represented the country at Eurovision.

It's honestly amazing how cheap their NF production was, obviously not every country can be like the Nordics but we should still expect some level of professionalism, if that makes sense.

Honestly I thought they improved quite a lot in 2019, that was relatively slick compared to the previous years. 2020 was good too, just felt like a small step back imo

Really cursed country, but their preselections were beyond amazing - so many trashy campy songs in live air, my favourite - Zheka - Blow On Me, and also i love the fuckt that on KZbin you can find a video "Anastasia Vinnikova forced gay club in Amsterdam to sing Born In Belarussia"

Hey where did you get the footage for Unstoppable from the 2004 NF? Color footage of that National Final is very rare due to BTRC’s archiving materials at the time

Got to admit, they did entertain us despite their dodgy country. I think Natalia should have gone in 2004. Very Britney type song. 2005 is a car crash of a NF 😂 There's only two good songs! One song was comparing a guy to chocolate! I think Elena would have been a finalist in 2006. I did prefer the original choices in 2010 and 2011. Problem is Anastasiya, is a bad live vocalist. 2014 was hunk v hunk in that tiebreak 😍 Napoli....she was desperate af. Either entry in 2017 would have been credible. I think Gunesh should have gone at least once. Perhaps she should have gone for Azerbaijan? 2019 - yeah I'd have preferred that over Zena. 2021...enough said.
