Thank you for 2000 subscribers! By the way, I have a question to people who watch my videos on a regular basis. I noticed that the quality of the robotic voice is not really good and I'll try to install another version of the program. But probably I'm too concerned about this and you don't even notice the problem. So does the quality of the sound disturb you and will it be okay for me to make a couple more videos with this sound (cause it may take some time to istall another program)?

for hatrið mun sigra, they excell in sarcasm and symbolism. -matthias is the dark in the world, whereas klemens is the good in the world, sort of like a yin and yang -andrean, the male dancer is the state as an institution. in live performances, he could be interpreted as europe as when matthias sings 'evrópa hrynja' he falls to the floor. -the two female dancers can be seen an law and economics, and again in live performances, can be seen controlling klemens, maybe saying something about this society. -einar is seen as time running out or the very slow approach of death, it is the clock ticking down. -the end of the song is a logical conclusion, where everyone comes together and is seen as an ideal society, much to the one we live in today.

It was about refugees. It's the story of a little girl that was born on a boat on the Méditerranée (I don't know the English name of it, sorry) after her mother was rescued when the canoe she took to join Europe had an accident. The girl just says thank you to the persons that saved her. I'm sorry if that wasn't understandable, I've tried my best to explain it well

Occidentali’s Karma. I love the contrast between the fun, upbeat music and the very cynical lyrics - literally the title means Westerners’ Karma. Especially love the line that describes the internet as “the poor people’s opium”.

I find "scream" "1944" and "roi" to have the most powerful messages. Scream to me sounds like a song of holding back emotions with lines like "tears wont fall what pride stands tall" however you need to let emotions out no matter how strong you are. Like in the music video, the little boy playing the knight thinks he is the strongest, but never saved the girl playing the princess until he lets go and actually let's his emotions be seen. 1944 and roi were mentioned in the video so I wont go into any detail as you out lined them perfectly.

Ukraine did some meaningful songs several times. Apart from Jamala's 1944 (while deserved, the win had a bitter aftertaste, since it sadly felt like it was given to them to calm the political seas) Alyosha's sweet people instantly comes to mind. Its lyrics are still relevant and I think it's safe to say they will remain relevant decades to come.

also romania's 2015- de la capat (all over again)... basically the song and the mv are about the migration problem in romania (which is kinda huge)... the band talks about the children that are left behind and that must stay with their grandparents or other relatives because their parents are going abroad to work, because that is the only way they can actually afford paying off living expenses and stuff like that... and especially the mv is meaningful, because it shows the struggles pf those children whose parents are working abroad and sending off money to romania, and how much they miss their parents and how it basically becomes some sort of trauma and about how they struggle to keep in contact with their parents whom they miss dearly (there are also a lot of topics that i didn't talk about in this song, but it has english subtitles if you wanna check it out)
@hoffy633 жыл бұрын
Thank you Lada for all your compilations. One song that has stuck with me through the years has been De La Capat/All Over again by Voltaj - Romania 2015. A beautiful song with a strong message about the children left behind by parents needing to work overseas. Although about Romanians, it is easily relatable to all economic refugees throughout Europe and the world who must leave their families in order to support them.

Maybe you won't believe me but We Could Be The Same also one of the songs that has a strong message and this message is not about love. The song has 2 strong messages; firstly of course about a relationship but secondly, it tells us how Turkey wants to be a European country that much! On social medias; Turkish people and other nations' people always fight about "Is Turkey a European country?" blah blah. We always wanted to be a member of European Union. But Europe didn't want us. As the guitarist of maNga says; "the song was misunderstood. Just because of the staging and some of the lyrics; people didn't see the biggest meaning of the song. It was about us. It was about Europe and Turkey which is European." For example: "For just one night, we could be the same, no matter what they say" "For just one night" : it was about the grand final. They knew they would go to the grand final so they wrote "just for one night" "We could be the same" : Turkey always wanted to be the same with European countries. Turkey has European parts but Europe didn't care about it and if they did; they (we) could be the same with each other. We could unite for raising the European union. "No matter what they say" : I guess you already understood. It's about "don't care about what the world will say" cos we have a bad ass president and Europe is like peace and they didn't want a country which is full of muslim and a bad ass president. America, China and other countries would drive crazy if Turkey would have been a part of European Union. It's about "no matter what other countries will say, we "can" be the same, even for just one night" But... We couldn't.

Albania has a strong and a deep message too. To everyone's wondering what the song is about. The song is about Albanian migration which has its roots since 600 years ago. Albanians migrated from Northern Greece (Morea, Epirus in antiquity) to Italy to escape Ottoman rule. The massive migrations were always present for centuries among Albanians who migrated to USA, Turkey,Greece, Romania, etc, and it finally continued until Serbian wars in Kosovo whose people flew massively in Western Europe. Albania has a long long history with migrants and it is a big burden for Albanian families since centuries not to have their loved ones near them. The Albanian migration still continues to this day and it was due either to continuous wars, genocides, and massacres by the neighboring countries, or for a better life. The migration in Albania still continues to this day, hundreds of songs have been sung and created for the Albanian migration where they mourn the departure of their loved ones, and in this song Jonida laments for the people who left their land and family and calls them to "return to the land." You can clearly hear her lamentation before the chorus starts. And while the migration in Europe has grown massively for the past 5 years, for Albanians, this is not a new thing It is our history, identity. This song has so much history in it. It is beautiful, meaningful, and sad at the same time, Every Albanian knows how deep the history in this song is and how the eagle at the end almost made us cry.

So many nice songs with messages, that's why I think it is impossible to name them all. I want to remind you on Love in Rewind (Bosnia and Herzegovina 2011). The song is about struggles made by people in their middle ages, when you are not either young or old, when you might feel useless and stuck in a routine, or better said natural order of things. They have given the love to other people and as they feel alone they want to get attention and love. The song talks also about the fact that everything passes and that life is like a sieve and that it makes that only big (important) things stay on the surface. I just can't skip and not to mention Wars for Nothing again. What a briliant song, with a choir-like atmosphere, I am amazed by it. I would make this song to be international anthem of peace. So about the most of these songs, I didn't know that they had a msg...so it was pretty interesting to learn that!!!👍 On the other hand,I don't really know if Eurovision is the right place and event to say some things...I don't know...Of course that is happening all the time,so... In the end I wanted to say that Conan's song had a good msg,too..about mobiles..I really found those lyrics pretty good....☺

@@succhiatoredelcazzo4689 unfortunately I didn’t know anything about this, but that doesn’t change the fact that I saw in this song an important message for me and that this song helped me in difficult periods of my life.

You forgot two beautiful songs in my opinion, Say Love - Darina Krasnovetska from ukraine sang the song "Say Love" at Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Mińsk, the song is about wars in western europe and the whole world, she was at 4th place, in my opinion she deserved 2nd. Also Anyone I Want To Be - Roksana Węgiel from poland placed 1st at Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Mińsk. The song is about dreams coming true and being anyone you'd want to be.
