This is an absolutely deserved victory of all time. Ruslana is amazing. I rewatched all the Eurovision broadcasts since 1956. She was the first in 48 years to make this contest not boring. Her performance is a sip of clean, cool water in the middle of the desert. Have you seen what Euro was like before 2004? There, those performers seem to have been taken down from the cross. However, after Ruslana's fiery "Wild Dances", all other countries woke up and started to put on an interesting show as well

This song is a legend. Popularity was huge in Turkey. I was a little boy and I remember we’d listen and dance to this with my older sis ALL THE TIME. Was as popular as the MTV hits of the time. She got 2,5 bonus because she obviously dances her ass off since the very beginning of this epic presentation. Most people would struggle even to keep breathing after that. :p But the singing itself (if I only use my ears and not my eyes at all) is very far from perfection (10). So I believe 6,5 is fair for her case.
