I’m honestly really upset this song didn’t win, or come anywhere in the top 10. It was certainly something very different than the others, and I feel that this would be a huge surprise if it won. Juries don't appreciate anything that isn't the usual eurovision pop, look at Iceland 2019, loved by the audience but juries didn't even consider them. Every time when a country sends anything other than the usual eurovision pop they're low on jury votes.

The juries need to be bigger (8 or 10 people instead of only 5) and more diverse.

In fact, that's not the music i'm talking about, because i like a little bit of indian music, i call it "solos" played by that guitar with a lot of strings (don't know the name of the instrument), i also love the sound of that instrument from Scotland, the Bagpipes, that instrument is also located in the North side of Portugal, near to Spain, and that instrument is called "gaita de foles" in Portuguese. The main problem of this Contest are the Judges (since the beginning of it) because if they want voices sounding like "nightingales" why they don't make a Contest with birds inside cages on stage ? AHAHAH ! (Joking with both Contest and Judges) And if Israel and Australia are participating is my opinion that Palestine should participate too ! And why not India, with songs played with that kind of "guitar" ? Or China, they also have some strange "guitar" too ! One thing is for sure, the Contest show some new Rock/Metal/Punk bands, but in another way, the Contest IS THE BIGGEST JOKE EVER !!

It hurts now listening to this song after Örs, the lead singer of AWS, died. I don't like hard metal rock that much. Sure, I liked one or two songs, but not in general. However, I was just so struck by how AWS, basically an outsider, a fish out of water in a contest mostly known for pop songs, adjusted and went along with everything so well. Anyone who has watched their interviews would see that they're all great guys. What's more, they've given probably one of the most authentic rock songs in the history of the contest, that paved the way for rock entries in later contests. AWS walked so Måneskin can run. After the contest was over they've earned my utmost respect for being genuinely good guys, and their entry became my late favourite of the contest. So it was quite devastating when I heard the news about Örs's passing away. This song is now as much about him as it is about his father. Rest in Peace Örs, you're with your father now. 🙏

You caught my meaning though for the -rock- metal concert. I'm not saying that they shouldn't be allowed; far from it in fact. I'm just saying that it's a bad idea for more than 1 or 2 performances to be metal because, 1. Not many people will enjoy them. Metal is rather niche all things considered, and 2. It's the fastest way for a country to lose because not many people will vote for them. Lordi was an exception because it was the first time it was done, ever. But the novelty value of a metal band has mostly subsided by now; as illustrated by this song's performance.
