@@MultiDaniel3456 He frequently says he recognizes hearing some songs before. As far as being just thawed out... there are a lot of people that wrap themselves in a little bubble of particular experiences and miss out on a whole lot of stuff that's out there. It is kind of like being thawed out if they ever decide to come out of that little bubble.

Annie is the backing vocals also. Another Scottish artist who has the most unique female vocals in rock. Absolutely Love hearing her sing. Another great one is Here Comes The Rain Again.... for a pure soul vocal capabilities showcase try her solo I Put a Spell On You.... simply amazing.... she does a excellent cover of Whiter Shade of Pale. And the only female I know who could ever sing Freddie's parts in Queen/Bowie's Under Pressure. You will love and be constantly amazed at Annie Lennox's vocals.

In the early 1980s, and even the late 1970s some, that "different-sounding" electronic stuff was pretty popular. It wasn't called techno back then but synth-pop or technopop and performers like Depeche Mode, OMD, Gary Numan, the Flying Lizards, Laurie Anderson, Wall of Voodoo, Devo, and Ultravox had big hits with it. Other hits the Eurythmics had were "Here Comes the Rain Again" and "Love is a Stranger." In the mid-1980s, the Eurythmics moved away from electronic stuff to more guitar-based sounds with hits like "Would I Lie to You?" Annie even dueted with Aretha Franklin in the mid-eighties on "Sisters are Doing It For Themselves."

You have good taste my friend. The only qualifier I would throw in is that with Ultravox it has to be their first 3 albums with John Fox, particularly the first one produced by Brian Eno. I think they died when Mij Ure joined. But that's just my personal opinion. But that is my "Freedom Of Choice" listening to my "Mexican Radio" with my girl "Enola Gay" as we count our "Money" in our "Cars"....

Annie Lennox (and all her vocal skills), David A. Stewart with some synthesizers, and a tall, cold cocktail with an umbrella is all I need for a nice evening. "Here Comes the Rain Again," "Would I Lie to You" and "Sisters are Doin' it For Themselves" (the last one with Aretha Franklin) are some other goodies from The Eurythmics. (Then there are at least a half dozen more from Annie's solo career.) Great reaction, man!

All vocals are her and squeezed on an old 8 track reel to reel, they had an old oberheim ob-x and an sh101 keyboards. The wooden computer is a drum machine. On the breakdown you hear high pitched percussion, that’s them hitting milk bottles with sticks. The riff is unique because it’s actually 2 different sequences playing. Listen to it in stereo, in the left speaker is a different sound and sequence to the one in the right speaker
