I’d enjoy making lore for people in my stories or games but I don’t play games for lore. I play for being vicarious FIRST AND FOREMOST. I like lore when reading stories, but for games I live just like I live my life, I don’t give a fck about what my ancient grandma did. Except to hear if she was that n*gga or if she was not that n*gga. Unless they wanted me to know.💁🏽‍♂️ Of course the survival aspect of history is a must, but is it really? I need to know every little detail know the systems they used. I’d rather not be spoiled in game or in life. If anything when it comes to Elden Ring lore I’d rather see the movie version. But it is dope!

@@jacobsmith8377 That’s not true, world building is more foundational than a story is. The lore is there alongside of the GAMEplay, I literally NEVER really paid attention to the story/lore in Bloodborne but it’s one of my favourite games. That’s because I like diverse exploration, fighting, monster/enemy geometries and appearances, level design as well as how they manifest their will. I do love stories though, I mean I obviously watch anime. But I play Destiny 2 more than anything because I like ACTUALLY being vicarious. Living through a moment in stasis, in God of War I created my own horde so I can fight forever. In D2 we’re guardians practicing to fight the horrors of the world that is built, but that stasis point is my favourite. I don’t need to feed on novelty anymore. That’s a diminishing resource. I feed off action and execution, that last much longer than the story that ends, but the world building is now much more important. That setup the endgame, the world building comes before the story and the endgame. Elden Ring is replayable because of the world building which doesn’t even really include the story outright but more so is like real life where we dont have the means to know the worlds story directly because it has to be searched for, I would love a movie TOO. Ppl play Souls PvP long after all the lore is found. Making your own story plus the world foundation is what creates endurance, which is what PvP does. But of course this is all paradox but still even in REAL life I’m not here for history but to explore and create just for the sake of it, not because of novelty. Novelty is a diminishing resource in theory. To enjoy execution, the middle of your story, is endurance. A story is such because it ends. Endings are not what I look forward to in game or AT ALL (my creed), One Piece is partially my fav for this reason, but that’s the only comparison I’ll make because that’s an actual story but I want it to continue forever FOR SURE. I agree on the obvious part, you can’t avoid endings they compliment beginnings. Though in my experience that’s only a theory too, but thats a trade secret I won’t divulge any further.💁🏽‍♂️

For those who came from Destiny 2, this is the comparison from a crayon eating titan main Bunny = Arc Warlock (speed is key and afk damage also Chaos reach) Ajax = Void Titan (do i even need to explain?) Valby = Void Warlock (debuff, teleportation, and ult orb that debuff and pull enemies) Viessa = Stasis Hunter (throw ice, then increase defense and some mobility, then throw ice again, lastly throw big aoe ice) Freyna = Necrotic Grips Warlock (i think due to defense increasing abilities its like Strand Warlock?) Lepic = Solar Titan (throw grenade, burn enemies, ult is a big projectile, only thing missing is immortality due to constant healing) Jayber = its like prismatic warlock with all the turrets but with alot more gunplay (lmao) Sharen = Arc Hunter (specifically with liars handshake) Blair = Solar Warlock Roy Mustang Build (but not well super, rejoice) Gley = not really sure which but if you can remember a build that can sacrifice hp for others just comment Kyle = Arc Titan (Plays Free Bird with every use of the super, p.s. it will miss) Eseimo = Solar Hunter (with all the trip mines with close one and done super but no restoration skills) Enzo = Cenotaph Mask Warlock (not really sure but i guess think of the most helpful person in a GM that helps with ammo and survivability) Yujin = Speakers sight Solar Warlock with well AND Song of flame and the healer frame Auto rifle.

bunny is great but is no bueno against bosses that sit around alot- ajax is HUGE for being able to comfortably keep the team alive. that dome is AMAZING. ajax makes the runs soooo much easier, and im happy to have picked him first

I hope this helps someone out. If you're having a "ghosting" glitch effect in your game environment, check your "frame generation" option in your graphical settings, and turn it off. This solved the issue for me. Again, I hope this can be useful to someone.

while not nerfed bunny in the 2023 beta used a bugged mod for more damage. i forgot which one but instead of like 8.7% damage it gave 87% or something like that. without that she loses the low investment damage but with the release there will 100% be more mods to help with ability damage anyway

I will be using Blair as my Main he is a strong DOT character to choose.His fire abilities will increase your Crit damage and as we all know in games like this your Crits is where damage is so his abilities make him a strong damage choice over all.

When I was playing I seen they have a jetpack cosmetic. Well I wouldn't mind seeing a jet trooper character, or maybe even a Draconic in looks while still being able to fly. Bonus points for being Chromatic in their abilities switch between elements, their fourth ability being something like Valkyr's from Warframe, and the character being masculine/male. (Yes I like Masculine/Male characters, so what.) No, this is not Ajax with wings/a jetpack. XD

So just to clarify you are able to select one character at the start of the game and then you need to unlock the rest of the characters throughout the game with in-game currency I assume? Then you are able to change to any character that you have unlocked at any time? It doesn't just lock you to the first character you selected at the start of the game? Also, does it just give you a set number of characters you can unlock at the start (like it gives you 5 characters you can unlock at the start and you can only choose one of those)?

1. You are not locked to any character, but you will only receive 1 free character to start (bunny later; so 2 technically). But only 1 at the very start. So once you lock that in you will only have access to that one character unless you "build/craft" another. 2. If it's the same as 2023 beta; then 3 characters at start to select for free: Ajax, Viessa, and Lepic Sidenote: apparently they added Bunny for free through story content 3. Yes you can use in game currency, as well as purchasing in game currency to then buy, build and craft another character. You can also upgrade them with the mats you can purchase.
