@@along1298 - To be honest, the food was the same. Although we had metal cutlery. The seat was certainly more spacious - but I had a problem with it not being quite deep enough, so the backs of mt thighs started to ache (about 2 inches above the knee joint) - But I am just shy of 6 foot tall. And it was a 12 hour flight. Not sure if I would pay an extra 50% for it over standard economy - maybe 25 or 30%. If the seat had fitted me better I would have been much happier.

Excellent flight review, EVA are a step well above their competitors. Seat looks like the pods from Finnair and KLM on their A35O and Dreamliners. Food nd service both looked incredible, editing skills and voice over were also really good. Off to watch more of your work Onemoreweektogo.

This is what I call a review! Wow, I really wish you to grow your channel for 2019 because it would be deserved! I really like the intro with various views and the pace of the video. It is never boring and having subtitles is a plus along the audio. You are very detailed and cover all aspects of the flight. I also enjoy EVA, flew them last December between Bangkok and Toronto. After flying Cathay for several years, EVA has become my airline of choice to travel to Asia. I agree with you with the choice of movies; they could have more selections. Looking forward to your next reviews!

From personal experience flying them to LAX, it was great. Service was great, food 9/10, seat 9/10, and overall the FA were fantastic. Now the herringbone design was good, it was somewhat small at the end. I guess some great things from the flight was 2 safety cards given to me by one of the FA's and snagged 3 amenity kits. At the same time, they rack up pretty good value. I managed to sell 1 on eBay for 75$.

I love EVA Air. I flew them to/from Chicago and was so impressed with everything. The only thing was the lounge in TPE wasn’t so impressive (the regular lounge). I still wear the pj’s.

I went on the EVA AIR hello kitty airlines and it was the best.It was like paraidse but like smaller seats and i was squished because I was in ecomony.Otherwise everything else was perfect.Pretty good drinks,they had so many drinks for adults.By the way im only 9.

It is indeed a very nice review! Congrats on your good work. I have two comments from my flights with EVA: 1. All of those little storage compartments are great, BUT they must be EMPTY during take-off and landing, which I find totally annoying 2. Because the video monitor is the swing-out kind, it must be closed during take-off and landing, AND EVA does not turn on their Inflight entertainment until well up in the air! Too bad. Star Alliance Gold, and Royal Laurel passengers get to board first but cannot start watching anything until usually about 60-75 minutes after boarding. I think that will change with the new 787 Dreamliner as the monitors are built-in/attached to the seat in front of you. I am told that they will start to carry larger size pajamas, too. Last time, the size printed was Large, but it was more like an American medium.

I actually used the Sony a7iii, as it has better low light performance. If I used a go pro, the footage would be very grainy.

For me personally, it felt lacking. I couldn't really find a movie I wanted to watch, whereas I could find one easily on other airlines such as Cathay or ANA. I was comparing against those similar airlines.

Definitely do! Otherwise you will not have the extra choices on board. Each route is different so I'm not sure what I can suggest, but it opens up for selection a few weeks before departure, so be sure to take a look then.

Early here! Those Royal Laurel seats looked like Garuda's A330 Super Diamond business class, which honestly is not my favorite because you will need a bit of an effort to film the window view....but in terms of comfortability it's quite decent. Nice video as always!
