If you come that fast from "zero" to any gravity at all you should fall or something, or a running stance for a few meters would be the normal thing. In older versions you crash against the floor or walls if you are coming in hot from EVA.

I've managed to learn how to land in a ship under the current system, but being able to do it without any practice, or the camera flipping out constantly... even if you don't do it often, EVA seemed like it at least wont feel so awkward.

Thanks for the Vid. The EVA is really good, except as usual, we did find a bug. u cant go feet first forwards. so u cant get in the turret of the xenothreat starfarer that has the broken turret entry. So prob cant get in the top entry on the connie. ie, sometimes u need to go down head or feet first... I am sure it will be an easy fix tho

@@SubliminaLstv . A few played around with the top turret on a connie earlier today, apparently you can go in head first and you always land on your feet. Will have to try it on the Xenothreat Starfarer top turret if XT it is on this week. I think this EVA is one of the best things they have done, it is just so much fun. Shame about the Flight Model controversy... Thanks for reply and great video. Have to get in game again with you sometime , its been ages. Cheers, Patch44 (R3DF1V35).

sorry, i didnt explain well. YES, you can go in head first. When i first posted on your video, we hadn't been able to work it out ( as xenothreat had ended) . However, after seeing your video, we tried with the connie and realized we could go in head first. We were originally trying to go in feet first because we assumed we would take too much time to get up and get shot by the NPCs in the starfarer. But it seems impossible not to land on your feet. Even when diving down head first. So head first it is!

MasterModes, Operator Modes, Vulkan Renderer (multi threading coming soon), Distribution Centers, Loot Screen, Dynamic Crosshair, Backpack Reloading, Ammo Repooling, Physical Shopping, Engineering (Arena Commander only for now), Server Crash Recovery, Water VFX... I have run out of time have to feed my son. But there is more....

What we got is the bootleg version of what they showed in the trailer. Hopefully they improve it. I don't see how changing the animation from vertical to horizontal and swinging the arms a bit and finally fixing the crashing for nothing reason took them so long to change. This stuff could be in done by indies in 1 week.

Star Citizen , you can polish a turd ... but at the end of the day CIG deleiveres on 100% of the content with 5% of the functionality ... FACTS !! Another classic patch release where the majority of the content releases is broken , bugged , or very very inconsistent . 100% expected LOL !!!

CIG has really set the bar so low that just floating into your ship in a normal fashion is applaudable 😂😂 It is a nice improvement though for sure

how can the bar be low if it doesnt exist yet? say one space game with EVA transitions this good... most dont even do transitions, let alone let you float into your ship to begin with. Really the only game even doing this is Star Citizen.

It's really not. This is a one of a kind game and they don't have much reference to build the tech. It seems minor but really these things take ages.
