I hear a lot of times that it's soaking rain water or anya water, is that true?

Sure, when i did this install i was not really in good spirit in general. So it was just footage i took and edited together a long time later. Its fairly straight forward though. Making a template, cuting out the correct size, plaze down and i used regular teak couching to help protect the corners from water. It still looks the same as when i installed it.

Still looks nice, off course you will have some wear on the surface since it’s soft. But not started to peel, and then water starting to soak in under, which was my biggest concern. I guess caulking in the edges helps.

@jobathano1660 i've looked at Flexiteek, and while it looks better than EVA Foam, it's still as expensive if not more expensive than real teak. Which is insane haha. Might try this Biltema stuff

Yes, but it won’t last forever. And if you get something on it, you don’t want to scrub to hard.

What sort of paper did you use for the templates? Looks like a type of foil backing.

I don’t know the name for it, but it’s some kind of paper used for construction. Aluminium paper for wet barrier, building bathrooms and such. Just took something laying around, but it sure made it easier.

Its a Crescent Virgo, early model. Nice boat, I like the cockpit, size and hull. Perfect for Nordic climate.

What's your experience one year later? Did it last? Any tearing?

I have not used it to much because of engine problems, so not so much mechanical wear. But put the boat back in today, still looks like when it was installed.
