The first real housewives was Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC-2006); which was followed by a REUNION. RHOA didn't come on the scene until 2008. NeNe may have come up with the idea of a reunion, but unless she helped create RHOC, the reunion was not her 'original' idea. Andy's mind must be slipping or it's one of those situations where you'll just say okay in order for someone to shut up.

So, I actually watched the interview of what Gary is talking about Nene said and she didn't say she created the show, she said she created the reunion. She went to Andy and told him to start having a reunion because they were not having one. Maybe she don't have a producers credit but her opinions obviously matters and the show is what made her able to venture off into other things. Just like has been a platform for Kandi to become even more popular and recognized, Kenya, Porsha, Cynthia. So, she is successful either way it goes, just like most of them. They all are always fighting so who really cares at this point. Eva was very shady and two face on the show so she has no room to talk. They ALL are shady so Nene doesn't need to carry most weight.
