Not true. It has been in the province of Girona, not in the city of Girona, a flooding close to the coast, with no to much more than a few cars away There had been a flood warning and a parking ban, but citizens ignored it.

Every year there is flooding and property destruction. Any river beds are overgrown with vegetation. In 20 years I have only seen one riverbed partially cleared, 6 months after catastrophic flooding. That was about 5 years ago. It’s all overgrown again.

This video is false reporting. Girona city is fine, Cadaques is fine. The images are of 30 cars that were swept into the river despite the town advising people not to park there overnight due to the weather warning. A crane took the cars away the next day and nobody was inside any of the cars.

Alert came at 8:15 flooding Chiva and Ruba Roja started around 3.30 pm Alert 5 hrs late. Partido Popular president Valencia gave informed storm was moving another direction prior to flooding. Main deaths Paiporta I think it's 68 there. Roads are full of debris so e have electricity. Many no water all shops destroyed .

it's fake news. Cadaques is fine. The road that flooded is the main water run off for the town which is why it has high pavements. People were advised not to park there because of the forecasted storms but ignored this so their cars got washed almost into the sea. A crane removed them the next day.
