can you explain scissor mouth? I have seen kids with milk teeth that flare at the sides and when the permanent teeth come in the mouth is correct.

Scissor mouth is where the hard pallet of the mouth is off side to side. It’s more rare to see them off side to side that it is to see an overbite. Usually if I see scissor the side gum line of the top pallet lines up with the center of the bottom pallet. So, think way off… It doesn’t have to be so profound to be “off” but this tends to get worse as the animal ages (as does overbite) and will have an effect on the animals ability to eat. Don’t worry too much about what the teeth are doing as they will generally correct themselves as the animal ages (as you stated). Just focus on where the gums/pallet is. Hopefully this makes sense.

@@LinessaFarms Thank you Tim. That makes sense. I will check my young stock for the "blown apart shoulders" now too. Funny how some people like that look. There definitely is a line between wide and too wide.
