Partnerships and collaborative arrangements in all their different forms are a valuable tool in sharing and scaling practice changes and proven innovations. But how can we better understand how partnerships are operating, how they can be supported to contribute to scaling and what their impacts have been?
This seminar will describe how 4 different partnerships in Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya & Zambia are working, and the lessons we learnt for working with, and evaluating partnerships for scaling in the future.
Mallory Pryde: An experienced facilitator, Mallory is driven by the power of collaboration to make real world change. An experienced trainer, she is accomplished at designing and delivering programs of work to meet unique stakeholders needs with and for community, boards of management and alliances and networks. She has expertise in the areas of leadership development, coaching, building collaborative culture and high performing teams to deliver on purpose. Having worked as a national lead workplace negotiator across public and corporate sectors, Mallory specialises in connecting stakeholders to identify common ground and deliver shared outcomes.
Dr Nicholas Vogelpoel: is a leader in the design, implementation and evaluation of complex programs. Nic has particular interests and expertise in designing and implementing learning and evaluation systems for partnerships and platforms. Over the past 15 years, he has been privileged to work with partnerships and programs leading evaluations for global and national funders of international development (DfID, Danida, DFAT, SIDA, Defra, European Commission) with organisations in Australia, Pacific, Southeast Asia, Europe, and Africa. He has designed evaluation systems for major collaborations at World Economic Forum, Wellcome Trust and conducted evaluations for philanthropic organisations and private foundations, universities, government and charities.
