at 2:38 is why Entheos is different to a lot of other metal bands out there, they combine their own feel and influences, like Evans bass playing and basslines and Navenes electronic samples.

Really diggin' this. Thumping and popping works so well these kind of djenty, palm-muted riffs but there aren't enough bassists who utilize it. Cuts through the mix like a katana.

My biggest quandary to playing bass apart from my lack of ability and relentless use of 2year+ old strings is that I approach it as if it was guitar, get cramps, then quite because of mister blister.

@1:31 has got me tripped out, I always played it the way he does in this video but I never heard that the guitar is actually slightly delayed. He does it consistently on every pass so I seriously doubt its a mistake but its got me curious if its like this on the studio version bc I can't hear the bass during this part. If anyone knows please let me know

Commandophile Wouldn't you assume someone as good at the instrument as he is would pick this over it for a reason? Warwick's are great but this sounds fantastic.

bon2bonn This is something a bit more subjective than that. I don't discredit Evan for preferring this so much as I am simply stating that to my tastes, Warwicks are the better instruments.
