i love the idea of signing Ferguson but i hate the idea of developing Brightons striker so they can either charge a bomb in summer or use him for themselves after Welbeck is past it. There needed to be an option to buy clause.

While I agree to an extent, it's a sensible in a way. Best example is Andy Carroll. When we initially signed him on loan then, like Brighton, Liverpool were seeking an option/obligation to buy and West Ham refused that. And even during the loan, he spent around 80 days out injured but we still made the transfer permanent for what Liverpool originally asked and he had multiple 100+ days out injured. Like Carroll, there's likely an agreement in place- just not in the contract.

I love the crossed hammer celebration thing, but he’s a loan player and belongs to Brighton, we shouldn’t ask him to do that crossed arms sign due to his loyalty to Brighton as a whole.
