Yeeeahh! Got the honor to be Professor Herschelman's student for this Spring semester! He definitely influenced a whole new passion for guitar playing withing me. I have him to thank for introducing me to getting my feet wet with classical guitar playing!! Thank you!!

Bastien Burlot Yes, a very round bass. The guitars made by Manuel Velazquez in the 60's are pretty much like, even modeled after this Torres.

My previous commentary was not about the performance (which is fantastic), but regarding the recording. It does sound like close mic. recording and very powerful sound. This is great for a CD but does not show how the guitar would sound from 20 feet away. Anyway, I don't mean to criticize, just curious. Cheers for this channel, it's my favorite.

Amazing. Does the tornavoz make it any easier?

This is a very nice new guitar piece, but I would love to hear some music which would have actually been played in 1868. Also I would like to know how much of the sound of this video has been pumped up.

Hate to be that guy, but you'll never know about the true sound unless you hear it in person. Just go with the provided audio and trust that the editors want to give you a good representation of how this guitar sounds.

I can assure you, that what you hear on the this video, is the sound that you hear in real time. I had the privilege of having a private lesson with Evan Hirschelman only a couple of days ago and he played this amazing piece in front of me. I tell ya, it sounds exactly the same.
