Evan Jager: Driven (Episode 1)

Why would someone who placed 8th as a freshman at NCAA's leave school to go pro? Evan Jager knew it was an unorthodox move, but he knew it was the right one. Being thrown to the wolves so young was the best thing that could have happened to him - right behind, believe it or not, breaking his foot and finishing 2nd to last in the 5k at USA's. He started looking for something else to get excited about, and he found it in the steeplechase.

2012 MT SAC I got to meet Jager and his coach Dobert at dinner, next night ran the 10,000m, broke the university school record, and Jager congratulated me at the finish line 😎
