Evan Peters is incredibly talented. ❤ I don't know any other actor with such ability to transform. I hope he will win an Emmy!! He also should have won the Sag Awards!

Did he win the award? Evan reminds me of Johnny Depp as he can really transform just like Evan. I agree with you 100% I honestly think he will go so far when it comes to TV and flim. I wish him all the best. I'm excited what he will do next

I wanna give a shout out to the actor who played Tony Hughes. What a fantastic performance. For the first 20 minutes of his episode I genuinely forgot I was watching a Dahmer show. It was a beautiful insight into the life of a deaf man and his family. I was happy for Tony when he got his job. I was happy watching him dance in the club. When he meets Jeff I was immediately deflated and felt such a wave of sadness and disgust seeing his face pop up again, which is also a testament to how well Evan played him. I loathed watching him after 5 episodes

I said the same thing, I forgot I was watching the show, I was so happy for Tony and as you said, immediately was deflated when you see Dahmer.

So so proud of everybody who played a role in this show and bringing the story back into the spotlight to shine a light on the victims and to shine a light on how the police treated black people and how they still treat black people in this country today may all of the victims rest in piece and they will never be forgotten. Rest in piece to amazing Glenda as well she tried as hard as she could to warn the police and save some of the victims and was ingnored.

that part! the commenters are not acknowledging that on purpose.
@samanthadavis2892 Жыл бұрын
@@tvxfilmtime exactly and it's a very important part especially to me because I am black and some of the things Dahmer did to his victims were really sickening and brung me to tears. Way before the Netflix show I saw a documentary on Dahmer and I could not sleep well for about 3 months because the victims faces where in my head. Made me sad and angry. All the comments are about Evan and how sexy and cute he is and Evan is amazing but this show is deeper than just Evan being amazing. Again rest in peace to all the victims and to Glenda and thank you to her and all the other neighbors not highlighted in the Netflix show that tried to stop Dahmer by telling the police about him.

For several reasons I did not like this show, but the performances from Niecy and Evan were absolutely incredible. They deserve all the awards.

It's a story that many people felt would one day be told, but no-one had really managed to do it. When they finally did, and the full magnitude of the calamity that was this guy's life was revealed, it was a magnificient release of a demon that had been bottled up for thirty years.
@Mel-jy3kq4 ай бұрын
When he said he didn't want them to leave, it didn’t mean he was terribly lonely and didn’t want to be abandoned. What he really meant was he wanted to possess them, to own them. It had nothing to do with wanting a human connection. He wanted them drugged, dead or “zombified”. He wanted their bodies, they were sex objects to him.

I'm very invested in this series and Evan Peters is amazing in this role as were the entire cast ❤with that being said the negative take from this is that the Dahmer family nor any of the victims families were asked how they felt about this series coming out on Netflix and I think that was a huge injustice considering the trauma they all had already been through !!!!! I'm not sure on the legalities but I thought that certain permissions had to be discussed before filming . But on a more positive note I do love how the series doesn't romanticize Dahmer in a way that seemingly insinuates any type of excusabiluty for these horrendous crimes!!!! Also the way the role of Tony was carried out to shed light on what it's like to live in a deaf persons world was great and the way it showed him with his family as well was impactful because it speaks volumes to the fact that Dahmer's victims weren't just homosexual men that dance and drink at a club , but they also had family that loved them and they had dreams and aspirations that were tragically ended in the most horrific way for no other reason than to satisfy a deranged killers lust and compulsions 😡😥💔my heart breaks for the families of these victims and even though the Dahmer family should have done more to get him psychiatric help and continued to ignore several red flags , I honestly empathize with them and I'm sure they're still haunted by everything that happened during his life and death

That scene never happened in real life, which is why it was one of the most difficult to get the motivation for. Dahmer wasn't confrontational, the way they portrayed him, he never forced sandwiches to anyone in his building and Niecy's character didn't live next door to him she lived across the street, never actually met him. I dont know why Murphy added that scene, it took away from the character's natural behavior and threw you out of the moment.

They focused a little too much on Glenda Cleveland, in reality, she never was given a sandwhich and she never even lived in the same building as dahmer, she lived in the building across the street

I always wondered. Did even had a shrink on standby while in production. Because, sweet Jesus! I don't even wanna imagine the amount of PTSD he is risking himself attempting to play a freak like Jeffrey Dahmer. Looking at the sick things Dahmer did is enough to give anybody perpetual nightmares.
