He does seem to be in a better place than he was a couple of years ago. He honestly looked like his soul had been sucked out of him in his interviews from 2017-2019. I think he went into therapy after he experienced a breakdown/burn out caused by exhaustion and the messed up stuff he had to film on AHS. Hopefully that's helped him learn how to better care for his mental health while he works on these kinds of roles.

@@sunny70299 exactly! I've watched lots of interviews of him during that time and he looked so emotionless.. as you said "like his soul had been sucked out of him". When I heard he would play Jeffrey Dahmer I was really worried. But maybe thx to therapy he learned how to care for his mental health and stay sane. He's in a good place now, laughing a lot (with a gloom in his eyes) and that really makes me happy.

@@sunny70299 I think taking a break from AHS did him so much good. It's such an intense show and way too much pressure was put on him especially for Cult. I was genuinely worried about him and I'm happy he got what he needed. He's a person, not a machine, and there's only so much a person can do. I was worried he might not recover

Especially Cult, I feel like that's what pushed him over the edge, what really got to him I mean. Thank God he took a break and seems to be doing so much better. Finally he plays a normal guy in Mare of Eastown. I was genuinely upset when they killed him off :( he was my fav

It hurt when Zabel died. I was in denial for a minute. "Maaaaybe it just got his ear and he fell over!" kinda thing. But no... It was hard! I hope to see Evan in a bunch of different roles, but honestly I'd love to see him as a pirate from the golden age or maybe even something like Patch Adams. I think he'd pull off a Patch Adams role beautifully.

The difference between this interview and the other one that he made in Sag-aftra fundantion is shok i mean in this interview he was shotting Jeffrey dahmer and the other one he was already finished the show , we can see the big difference that how he look happier calm and peacifull after shotting the Jeffrey dahmer show and in this interview he was shotting it he look even tired . Lucky is the woman he loves. I've feeling Emma Roberts was the one who was manipulative in their relationship. He just genuinely looks like someone who cares about their partner.
