@@janicemarsh1669 I hate most republicans, but if anyone in American politics has solid principles, it’s republicans. Sure they’re mostly terrible and mostly disagreeable but they stick to them. So perhaps we should send it to the democrats.

@@Anonymoose62 you are so right we all need to be mindful of your comment. I do not disagree with you. Please note I said at the end of my comment “just now”. It about behaviour and their behaviour at the time of that comment was not lining up with their principles or their relationship with other humans. Frankly I don’t think that politics is the answer to our problems. Only a change of heart through becoming authentically conscious. Blessings to you.

I once had the amazing experience of coming face to face with Nelson Mandela in an underground parking garage at a shopping mall as he was leaving a private event he had attended. (This was after he had completed his term as South African president ). It was late at night - and he was alone with his private secretary and his driver. I had the opportunity to see what really made him so special - and it had little to do with the determined, fighting spirit and principled leadership for which he was famous. A group of children wanted to take a photo of him - but they could not get their camera to work. Mandela spent at least 15 minutes trying to help the kids to fix the camera - because he knew how important it was for them to get the picture of him. He was endlessly patient and kind - and he saw the whole situation from the children's point-of-view and did not want to disappoint them. In the end, they could not fix the camera and he had to leave - but he left me standing there - utterly amazed ! What other world leader would have done this in these circumstances ?

Or people who know how Mandela betrayed his people over their land for the sake of no civil war, now there is freedom without land in south africa, cause your hero guy didn't want to fight for it. The national party is still rulling south Africa with black people as screen savers, freedom without land is just a joke, they killed Chris Hani cause he wanted land, Mr rainbow nation is just part of the strategy they used on people, brainwashing em that they have freedom yet there is none. Freedom without land is idle,. Search whose owning south african land and tell me what changed post the so called freedom.

Nelson Mandela's most inspirational, according to me, is the poem of Marianne Williamson as Nelson read when he became precident: Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.….. and more

I have just started to listen to Mr. Mandela and he is excellent on all counts. He is the type of speaker whose style and demeanor make him one with his mission and that is to recognize that best quality that is Within all of us, and declare that noone should ever be treated as anything less nor limited in anyway from the promise of that innermost expression of freedom and its defining equality. By that very most profound influence all are given the chance to reach their full potential as human beings! Long live his example and his message!

A communist Mandela.Killing innocent people, like Putin is doing now. 33 Years ago today, on 23 December 1985, Andrew Zondo, a member of the ANC Youth League, placed a bomb in a dustbin at the Wimpy in the Sanlam Shopping Centre in Amanzimtoti. Five people were killed in the explosion, while another 40 were injured. The five deceased included two women and three children (one only a baby) - each and everyone a soft target.
