your subconscious mind does not know the difference on what is real and what you imagine vividly as real, may be so easy for me and anyone else to say or give advise on this sensitive issue of depression, but let tell you any ways, start imagining strongly the things that will start pulling you out of that spiral, excercise, and check your diet, specially surround your self with positive people that can and will encourage you to go after things, I can assure you this things will help a lot.. and being spiritual also helps..

I love the advice on writing your goals as if they are already accomplished. I used to do this every time I was looking for a career change. I used my resume as a vision board for what I wanted to see. I wrote down the job titles I wanted with a description of what I wanted to do. I also would write down the education I wanted to complete. I wrote my name as Halona Black, M.Ed. -- well before I had even applied to grad school to study adult education. Now that I am an entrepreneur, I do it less often. But I'm going to pull out pen and paper today and write down my business goals as I see how powerful writing down your goals can be. Once you complete a big task although you might want to do it later if you do it first you feel accomplished, happy, and proud of your work being done and it motivates you to do better and do more things. These are all great and very true. My favorites are No. 5 and No. 9. I am very action oriented and understand the value of action in goal achievement. thanks Evan. Brian is fantastic. I followed through and did the advice as Brian was talking. It was great. I now have my most important goal for the next 12 months AND a list of 20 How's on how I can achieve that goal. I forced myself to think of 20, which was hard and funnily enough, just as in Brian's example, my 20th How is actually the thing that I think will most help me achieve the goal. I have ordered my 20 Hows into a sequence and now have a rough plan of action. Great stuff. I plan to start each day off with 1 hour of reading and 1 hour of reprioritising and completing an action from the most important of my list of 20 Hows. Thanks
