John Ruiz did well -- much better than anybody expected. However, for commentators to suggest that Ruiz won (let alone get robbed) is 24 carat bullshit. Bobby Czyz is just bitter that Holyfield battered him senseless when they fought in the mid 90s. Ruiz outlanded Holyfield, but there was not a single time in all 12 rounds that he had Evander in trouble... where as almost 80% of Evander's power shots and combinations visible moved Ruiz and caused him to hold for dear life. Holyfield busted Ruiz up pretty good. It would have been stupid for judges to gift rounds to Ruiz for inconsequential taps in comparison to Holyfield's destructive connects. No question that The Real Deal won.

James Toney on the other hand also came up from 160 but he beat the living shit out of Ruiz and other heavyweights proving himself to be legit in the division. Roy isn't all that. No chin whatsoever.
