I love americans in europe being all fascinated by classic old buildings! Like, my boyfriend lives in a house that's 250 years old and the church next to it is from 1600-something. It certainly makes our cities amazingly beautiful having all of these old buldings to guide the way for new ones :)

Awesome video! Reminds me of 2 stories I heard during my tour of the castle: that the last person executed there was an 18-year-old girl tortured to death in 1776 for witchcraft. And there's a beautiful ceramic stove in one room that was SO beautiful, the docent said, that the Archbishop ordered the artist's eyes put out so he could never make anything so beautiful for anyone else. Ah, the good ol' days, eh? O_O

(I hope you understand most of this. As you want to learn german I thought you might also like to get some comments in german. If you don't understand this just say so, I can of course also write those in english...well...at least I can try xD) ♥ and hugs Dorry

In Austria, we call them „Kasnockn“ (should sound like *Cars-no-k‘n* 😉). Spätzle is more like the german word for it. Anyway, I do very much appreciate, what you think of my hometown and I can confirm that. It‘s awesome, beautiful and I love it! But for the next time in Salzburg and the best Kasnockn in town, you should have visited the „Gasthof Mitteregg“, but that‘s on the Gaisberg, the little Mountain in the east (the one, with the red/white antenna stick on top 😉). I‘d go there with you 🤤 Keep on and Greetings from Salzburg! 👍🏼 Arno
