17 years ago I listened to my 21 year old daughter's Evanescence "Fallen" album. I loved it, and then I "took" it and played it everywhere! Last night I took my daughter to this concert in Portland, the first time either of us had ever seen Evanescence in concert! It was absolutely spellbinding for both of us! Evanescence restored my faith in Rock and Roll 17 years ago and Halestorm has only added to my love of Rock! I'm almost 60 now and this experience with my daughter will be one of the best memories ever! Rock On Portland, Rock On everyone!

I absolutely love this ❤ I lost my oldest daughter 6 weeks ago today to a car accident. She was 17 and had her whole life ahead of her. When she was 14, I took her to her first ever concert. We saw Badwolves and Ashes to New. We had such a great time together that night and even though we had total opposite tastes in music, she got had so much fun and had a better understanding of why her mom loved metal and going to live shows. I got her to the front on the stage and have video of her fist bumping Tommy Vext. The smile on her face and excitement in her eyes seriously lit up that small club in Reno NV. that night. I totally converted her over to the dark side lol I love that I got to experience that with her. Music can bridge so many divides and that night brought us closer together and is one of my favorite memories with her, my beautiful Heather Rain. I really hope that you get to keep building memories like that with your daughter ❤ From one mother to another, please hug your girl extra tight for this internet stranger ❤

At the :48 second mark Lzzy threw a small packet into the crowd. It bounced off my hand and the guy next to me came up with it. It was a hand-written note to "Dear fan" (I didn't get to read it all) wrapped up with a bunch of guitar picks. If only I'd been a little quicker!! Awesome show though!

Saving ours we are able saving others, did U see there was one girl (our LP soldier) stopped by seeing a man sitting on the edge above the cars.. clearly thinking of taking his life. Only She stopped and spoke out the lines from song One more light that got to him and literally saved him !! It's incredible. LP has much more power than they could ever imagine. We are thankful immensely but also proud of ourselves to be part of LP (and Chester's ) family. Take care buddy!

I'll always find it funny that people ever thought Amy Lee saying she didn't want Evanescence to just be a "female Linkin Park" as an insult to Linkin Park, she clearly wasn't dissing them, just stating that she wanted her band to have its own identity. Amy respects LP and their work, and Chester and LP influenced her and Evanescence's music and songwriting in other capacities. It shows in this cover of Linkin Park's Heavy how much respect and admiration Amy had for Chester and how heartbreaking his death was for her. Evanescence and Linkin Park are great because the bands have their own identities and aren't just "X band, but this is different about the lineup." She was right to not just copy LP, instead use them as a musical influence. Ultimately, Chester would be proud to see his friends and contemporaries carry on his legacy.

Linkin Park is one of the few bands that has saved my life and hearing this cover broke me to the point I was crying from the pain of everything. I had to stop listening to LP after his death especially their later albums and a couple years before Chester died I found Halestorm and they have taken up where LP had left off for me and has since continued to keep me from acting on my thoughts when I am alone especially on my long walks home from work at night. I still carry around the guitar pic Lzzy gave me in 2018 at a concert where I live

I don’t know where else to post this, but the song heavy came out during a time where I was in a shitty abusive relationship. I saw halestorm live weeks before I got myself out of that situation… and hearing my 2 musical inspirations cover this really brought forward some emotions I didn’t know I could handle. It’s been a little over 3 years since leaving that man that I am able to listen to the song again because these women have changed it and made it their own. I love Chester and these women more than words can describe. Their music has gotten me thru some shit. Sorry for talking about this but I feel so empowered 💕✌🏻

Seeing this show live was INSANE! This recording makes it sound pretty poor. But they were ON POINT!! Lzzy and amy are such incredible vocalists. Great memories made!!!
