I've always thought this was for her sister who died (something about the dark, solemn tone); like Hello & Like You were on the first 2 albums; this one was originally written for the 3rd album. I thought she said in an interview that she's always tried to include something in each album for her sister; but that could have been initially and not anymore. IDK; just my thoughts.

It's not for her sister. She said recently in an interview that the song talks about a relationship that bad ended, but all hate and angst is gone. It's a song that tells "it's over and I'm not mad anymore ", according to her. So, it's possible she speaks of Ben.

I hate how the echoes sound at 3:19. Other than that, the whole song is an incredible piece of art that SHOULD'VE been released in 2010, but that one part sounds terrible though.
