I miss black armory alot, but i do like the seasonal model for the game. The weekly storytelling in particular is fantastic. I wish they would bring the forge style seasonal activity back where it changes week to week, in difficulty and style

I took screenshots with the randoms i met through LFG who were also on the izinagis quest. We completed it and we were all emoting with our izanigis where Ada 1 was in the dlc. I had the selfie emote as well, we all posed and its a nice memory to look at when it shows up on my pc’s slidehow screensaver.

I know there's a ton of new weapons that I already play with, but the Black Armory weapons filled a niche feel that hasn't been replicated since.

I have such good memories from black armory weapons, i remember when i got my first hammerhead i used that thing everywhere, and being the first one in my friend group to get the Izanagi's Burden one shotting ogers an bosses with it was so fun while my friends just stand there confused 😂

I was talking to some new lights in a raid the other day, they had purchased the gun with a cypher. My greatest destiny 2 memory was when I finally finished the Izanagi quest mostly solo. It was the most interesting reward ive ever received in a video game, and I felt that way because I went through a journey. Maybe there should be exotic skins that are given to players who earn weapons the long way? But bungie would have to actually think ahead for that. I hope some new game studio looks at destiny and strives to do everything right and leave the mistakes behind. This I feel will be the ultimate game. That being said ive still enjoyed my time with destiny and will keep playing hoping they keep their current momentum.

Black armory was fantastic yes, but I think a lot of people look at it with rose tinted glasses. The main activity of the season, the forges, is probably one of the most barebones activities that we've gotten, especially compared to the menagerie, dares, or ketchcrash. Most of the weapons were pretty cool, but you never saw anyone running them because mountaintop + recluse would exist in just a couple of months. I really do wish we would get exotic quests again, especially since we haven't had a new one since WQ dropped.

In my friend group I'm literally called the black armory librarian because I've committed myself to the Black armory because it's the real reason I'm still alive today (was suicidal back then). People are always asking why I have all black armory stuff on or only use Izanagi's because I made a promise to myself. To keep living on, to continue even if the outcome is bad. I am soon going to get the Armory clans tattooed on my back soon as well. Speaking of Izanagi's, I earned that all by myself because people wouldn't help me so that even more real reason I love Izanagi's. I friggin love black armory back and I really hope it can return with the new weapon crafting system

Black Armory, one of...if not my favorite faction (I know they're not really a faction, but if they were, I'd follow them) when I first played Destiny 2. I found something enjoyable when I used the Black Armory weapons, Blast Furnace, Kindled Orchid, and Hammerhead were my favorite legendary BA weapons. Scourge of the Past was my first ever Raid I completed before Beyond Light sunset it, and the Izanagi's Burden Quest was by far my favorite quest. It's a shame that the forges are now lost for good and Ada-1 is now stuck with making transmog, but when Bungie brought back the Opulent weapons last Season, maybe there's hope for the Black Armory weapons making a return, this time, in weapon crafting. Rather it will become reality or stay as a dream, time will only tell and if Bungie will do it or not.

Seasonal content for destiny fits really well imo but I’m not a big fan of the battlepass structure. Think it needs a reimagine. Nothing wrong with it but considering the rewards outside of brightdust and mats are a little lackluster. If it felt like something to REALLY work for again, like back in the Izinagis burden days, I think it’d be a little easier to get behind

Izanagi was so much better when it had Outlaw. Replacing Outlaw with No Distractions was the beginning of the end. No weapon that takes that long to get should never get nerfed, let alone nerfed(x3).

There's no time in Destiny I miss more than the post-Forsaken era. Experiencing one of the most gripping stories in the entirety of Destiny with the death of Cayde, an exciting new world in the tangled shore and dreaming city, and all the added content of things like the raids, menagerie to farm weapons, and more. This is not even bringing up the hidden quests to unlock the black armory forge, get outbreak: perfected, Izanagi's burden, Thorn, Lumina, etc. There was so much you truly had to discover, learn, and experience at that time, instead of having it handed to you in a battlepass or a straightforward quest. I still remember coming into Destiny 2 right after the launch of Season of Opulence, and being bored of the base game, Warmind, and Curse of Osiris. Then experiencing Forsaken, and getting to explore the dreaming city. I wasn't as hardcore about it then, so I dropped the game when Shadowkeep came out, before finally returning in Season of Arrivals at the very tail end, with one month remaining, before it would all be taken away. Never have I raided as hard, or dumped as much time into the game, as I had then. Scrambling to complete these amazing quests, collecting all these exotic armors and weapons, and completing as many triumphs as possible for the moments of triumph 2020 title. I still use the heroic Whisper ship, A thousand Wings, because that time in Destiny meant so much.

Nothing got close to the Black Armory for me in Destiny. The lore, score, the Forges, Niobe Labs, the forge puzzles. I adore everything about The Season of the Forge. I often yearn for a return to that state of Destiny, yet I realistically know it's forever in the past.

I remember being soooo close to getting this weapon before season 11 ended but I got stuck trying to solo the pyramian part due to me not having any friends and being too scared to try going on lfg, it's one the regrets that I live with now since I would have loved to finish that quest but I'm so glad that I have this weapon now thanks to the exotic archive. The forge is gone but that box is still there to open. I miss the forge content. I was a step away from completing the quest for Izunagis Burden. But being a solo player made it impossible for me to complete the quest. I have it now thanks to the kiosk, but being able to target farm an aggressive burst pulse rifle, and probably the best legendary machine gun in the game at the time, just to have it all taken away, and having the weapons sunset really was a punch in the gut.

I farmed and grinded for this weapon for 3 weeks back in the day when the forges were still here. It took me and my friend a lot of time to get it but we made so many fun times and unforgettable memories from just grinding to get it. And for that reason (and the huge damage output) I love this weapon from the bottom of my heart. Izanagi #1

I got into D2 at the end of Shadowkeep, just before Beyond Light dropped. While Izanagi's isn't the first exotic I ever got, nor is it the first gun I truly strived for, as soon as I got a look at that monument to lost lights, it was the first ever gun I got from it. From there, it's been one of my biggest joys to look at or even listen to when firing it.

The seasonal model using the drip feed mechanics are awesome if done right. Bungie has done right, especially in witch queen. I mean crow killing caitls psion cliffhanger was INSANE And the cliffhanger we just got, where ERAMIS SPILLS THE BEANS ABOUT MITHRAX TO EIDO!??!? Who saw that coming? Get your context right. Last time I checked Gladd didn't open the forge. Bungie lifted the lock. Those guys went in afterwards because a true cipher was not provided in game and was the first probably to do it but the forge was unlocked already

The whole season pass idea is great, and Epic did a great job with it in Fortnite since it actually rewarded you with a decent amount of V-bucks to make your money back in the long run where you could do a season free and then the next one you pay for it with the V-bucks you earned as a dedicated player.
