Although Karen is an excellent singer, there is no doubt in everybody's mind that Twinkie is the foundation for the Clark Sisters. She wrote so many great songs, produced and provide the musical arrangement for the group over the years. Her musicianship propelled them to stardom and introduced them to the world. Thank you, Pastor!!! I love the Clark Sisters so much. I raised my children on their music. It saddens me that they have not solved the family problem with Denise. They bring so much joy and healing to others, and yet, they cannot solve the problem with their sister, Denise. They often say that their mother, Dr. Mattie Moss Clark, told them "that they must stick together." They are not adhering to her wish. They are all getting older, and they need to heal this unnecessary riff between them and Denise. Thank you again for letting us know that Twinkie is alright. And Long Live the Might Clark Sisters.

Karen has the type of voice that soars. Even the great Aretha Franklin was in awe of Karen's voice. This does not take anything away from Twinkie. Twinkie build the Clark Sisters. She is a triple treat.

@@jordanwynne6554 it was Gospel night at Disneyland and it was the Clark Sisters and the Winans!! Then the Clark Sisters were more popular than the Winans. It was a sea of people! The curtain opened and they had the smoke machine going. They all had on sparkly dresses on. Twinkie had on a white dress and she was playing strings on the keyboard on top of the organ as their smooth 6 voices applified from the stage. When Twinkie got to there's a Balm In Gilead I was blown away!!!!!!! I left Disneyland sooooooo freaking inspired. So today I am a singer and musician and it is working out for me. I will be in concert May 18th here in Yorba Linda Ca. I mostly have a white following. I will perform "Now Is The Time" on piano to pay tribute to Twinkie!

Back almost 40 years ago, when I was in the COGIC church with my Grandmother, the choir use to SING this SONG. It brings back so many MEMORIES. I left the COGIC organization MANY years ago for personal reason. I remember doing a workshop in Savannah, Georgia in 1980 at Elder Crawford Church ( COGIC). It was Twinkie and her Mother Dr. Mattie Moss Clark. The MUSIC ministry in COGIC has always been Brilliant!! So MANY GREAT Singers in that ORGANIZATION.

I really appreciate the love. I didnt want to sing. I had only asked Dr. Clark-Terrell to play a song for me. She asked me to sing a song. I chose that one because her Mom Dr. Mattie Moss-Clark wrote it. She agreed and was so excited to play. She is truly a treasure to the body of Christ. Praying for the complete restoration of Twinkie’s voice in Jesus’ name! Health may not have been Twinkie’s voice’s best friend, yet I believe that Jesus can heal her completely, that her voice may have the same youthfulness Jackie, Dorinda, and epsecially Karen’s (now Karen’s voice hasnt aged a bit) voices have retained for all these years

Timothy Lakaseru ummm all of their voices have changed...it’s just that Twinkie Is more noticeable. Dorinda is A LOT more raspy and so is Karen’s

@Mann Brockman Yes I’m aware of this, when people age their voices do change in some way .. This was noticeable in Dr.Clark as well. Her voice got increasingly raspy as she aged (just compare her when she sang with the Southwest Michigan State Choir in the ‘60d and when she had the reunion with them in 1990. Well that’s unavoidable, yet this is different form the voice change people experience after they get ill... just as experienced by Dr.Clark after her stroke (it must have affected throat muscles ) in some ways ... and I think this has also happened in Twinkie’s voice, especially because she’s had health problems for years by now

Mann Brockman the bright side is that shes still serving God eventhough things have not gone well .... such passion reminds me of Dr.Clark in her final years (1992-1994) she didn’t let an amputation stop her, training choirs and conducting workshops with a prosthetic leg on .... until she suffered a severe stroke in ‘93. Still, she directed and recorded with the IMD and her Michigan choir....

I know I'm not musical but I found no fault in her voice here. She's light years away from where I am in singing. Besides her fingers on that piano are beyond impressive. God's got her. He never left her.
