The Clark Sisters do riffs and runs. But I understand what your saying. Church use to be 4-5 hours every Sunday at least and then you had evening service. My mother told me about Shut-ins back in her time which were important for when you were having deep troubles in your life. You prayed to God all night long until sun up and whatever crisis you were in when you walked out of the shut-in session at the crack of dawn you feel that a breakthrough was coming in your favor. I'm 19 now, and my great grandmother (1922-1993), and my grandmother (1944-2005) work under Dr Mattie Moss Clark, when she was the minister of music of the international and national music department of the church of God in Christ. Her songs like; "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me", "salvation is free", and "I'm on my way to heaven to meet the king", always rings in my ears, to let me know that I'm a spiritual minister of music to show young people that these songs will give you strength, guidance, and power. God bless you Dr Clark (1924-1994)❤️❤️❤️

What I learned from her just in rehearsal alone was enough to sustain my walk with the Lord down through the years.
