Around the same time Bandai released some Dragon Ball Z model kits. You would assemble basically a naked body, then put the clothes on. They were made of the same crazy rubber. I used corn starch to dry lubricate the suit and figure, they were still a B itch to put on, but they had a neat feel to them.

Idk if you care about the PG Eva enough to care about fixes, but if you wanna' fix the top heaviness then you can fill the lower legs with small screws. I did that with the LM HG Eva 01 (which also has hollow legs) and it improved the balancing quite a bit

Built the PG EVA, cannot for the life of me, pose this kit in any way that resembles something organic. The body suit crinkled and bends the character out of the pose I was going for. Not happy with this kit in any way. Gave it to my 3 year old to destroy, which he did in under 18 mins. Waste of money, if you ask me. (Which you didn't, but be warned...)
