It can be a heavenly entity or a demonic one. They have no face because they are not human, and while dreams/visions pull aspects from memory, these entities are not from memory so your mind does not put a face on them. When you wake you will 100% know if it was heavenly, as typically these are visions meant for you to remember with an attached message and revelation. Thank you Evangelist..I had a faceless couple appear in my dream...elderly looking around 60yesrs old. They stood in my self contained bathroom face the bedroom but didnt enter the bedroom...so I got up to prepare for church and when I turned to bathroom area I saw them standing there. Had been seeing number 222 all the time tried to ignore it but wouldn't go away. Finally sought God in prayer about this because I don't practice numerology are mix religions. That night God gave me dream about a faceless person handing me some keys. I woke up and read Isaiah 22:22. Wow was I blessed. I will give you the keys to the house of David, the highest position in the royal court. I had a dream that I was walking home. 2 faceless man started to follow me. I then turn the other way to walk somewhere different where they could not follow me. then one of them took off and started to run as to surround me when they both surrounded me and they were coming within several feet of me. Had a dream two days ago about a faceless woman with long blond and orange hair. She was encouraging to go worship with a bunch of other people in the church I go to. I've been asking God to show me what my dream meant for nearly two months. A man I know but am not with came to me in a dream. The dream happened on the night on his birthday. His hair stood out for some reason and his face was in shadow. He woke me up as I slept and kissed me and spoke to me repeatedly for some time. He was very gentle and protective. I knew who it was in the dream. Before any intimacy began, I woke up. I'm a virgin, I wonder if this could be why. It didn't feel like he was there to hurt me or specifically to have sex.
