Brilliant! A student friend of mine in Plymouth, UK, found one in his grandmothers loft, 40 years ago. Within a couple of weeks, he was banging out tunes like he'd been doing it forever. After he finished his degree, he went to California and took the Dulcimer with him. I have no idea what happened to him after that, but I hope he did well for himself.

Have laser cuting at home now so let me know when you want more hammers or the rosets.

Man im asking from a guy who learned about this instrument today. How do you know which spot will make what sound? How does it work?

Never mind your hands, how did your instrument fare? Very nice playing! I've pulled out my dulcimer after a couple decades, and these vids are inspiring me.
