Always loved this song. Still in 2020 im listening to it. It would always get to me, but know that ive lost the woman I saw as the love of my life the chills are greater than before. The meaning, the meaning is up for interpretation to who listens to it. Love them so much you can move on. As a person who waited and waited for someone’s indecision to fix the relationship, this fucks me up. The “for how long”... and “im so pathetic, you made me finally see it, got what you want im gone”. I spent 9 months of my life tormenting myself for my loss. Kevin has a talent for writing beyond levels just as his singing. Beg, Eclipsed, Over, Quote. Guys if you got someone you love dearly with you, do whatever it takes to maintain it and grow with it. But once the love or effort isn’t 50/50, walk away... no person should have to carry the burden to fix everything themselves. Love yourselves, much strength to anyone going through hardships that Identify with this song.
